Organ Sound Art Festival 2025 is proud to present Ferdinand Schwarz, a German, Oslo-based composer-performer, with 𝘿𝙤 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙄 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧? — a performance where a self-built instrument of air-pressure machines and melodicas transforms space through psychoacoustics.

Ferdinand Schwarz opens our Friday 12th evening and will also perform later as part of Ragnhild May and Stefan Maier’s work Bellows.

Udpegning til Art Music Denmarks bestyrelse sker efter Art Music Denmarks vedtægter, hvor der er fastlagt en fordeling af medlemmernes kompetencer. Der søges denne gang en kandidat med stærke faglige kompetencer indenfor jura, økonomi, organisation, samfundsfaglighed eller lignende.

Der ydes et fast årligt honorar på DKK 8000, og der afholdes ca. 4-5 årlige møder samt et årligt heldagsseminar. Udpegningen er for fire år: 2026-29.

KoncertKirken Blågårds Plads

KoncertKirken Blågårds Plads is Denmark’s first private Concert Church, situated right in the heart of Nørrebro in the former Blågårds church. The brain child of Paul Ostrup, director of LiteraturHaus and Björn Ross, artistic director of Copenhagen Renaissance Music Festival, KoncertKirken opened in October 2009. Since then KoncertKirken has become a popular cultural destination for both local, national and international music lovers and musicians.

The acoustics in the main hall is one of Copenhagens best. Since October 2009 Koncertkirken has hosted more than 1000 concerts within all genres, including baroque, renaissance and medieval music, world music, contemporary music, classical music, choir and vocal music, organ recitals, opera, pop, rock, jazz, improvisation, sound art, electronica, ambient, folk, dance, cabaret, cross over and performance art.

Koncertkirken also hosts many other kinds of events such as film screenings, conferences, lectures, workshops, dance evenings, yoga and secular ceremonies such as funerals and weddings. The venue is also much used for rehearsals, sound and video recordings, both due to the extraordinary acoustics and the quiet surroundings.
