Copenhagen Irish Festival 2019
Copenhagen Irish Festival 2019 will take place on November 8th and 9th at Kulturstationen Vanløse.
The double concert Friday night will feature the amazing and legendary singer Eleanor Shanley in a special live collaboration with MC Hansen, Danish Music Award Winner and songwriter of the year, and his band The Sentimentals.
To kickstart the evening The Early House will set us off with superb Irish instrumental music on harmonika and fiddle by world champion harmonica player Joel Andersson and Paddy Lawless
Saturday night’s concert presents ballad singer Alan Burke, known for his commanding stage presence, powerful, sensitive voice and unique driving guitar style. We also welcome Gaelic and traditional singer Diane Ní Chanainn, fresh out with her new album, Idir Mhuir agus Sliabh. She will be accompanied by Theresa Kavanagh and renowned Manus Lunny.
