Local Artistic Director Jeremy Thomas-Poulsen, artistic director of Down the Rabbit Hole Theatre, has produced and directed many productions in Copenhagen and abroad. International Artistic Director Jana Pulkrabek, from the Hamburg-based ManusArts, has worked in the field of cultural exchange for many years, where she has launched numerous international theatre, film and art co-productions. Together they provide a broad network for enhancing and supporting cultural activities and cooperation. This offers not only an exciting range of international theatre to be presented to Copenhagen audiences but also for Danish cultural work to travel abroad. On & Around the Stage:
HIT is an open house for cultural encounters presenting plays, performances, readings, festivals, workshops, special events and exhibitions. Whether spoken word, music(al), dance, panto or improv, HIT presents international theatre that is unique, daring and engaging. HIT will develop a variety of formats in order to make the space accessible. Platforms, such as: the weekend Cultural Brunch, the afternoon Tea & Tales or the after work Happy Hour. A variety of cultural activities in pleasing and social surroundings to attract a wider range of audiences. HIT collaborates with Copenhagen’s annual theatre calendar, designing the monthly program according to the featured festivals and happenings. HIT’s profile offers a variety of possibilities for collaboration within Huset-KBH, in order to create exciting joint cultural events.
