Dear Lord Coe

Please find the open letter to yourself on behalf of many of the top Discus Throwers of the World, their coaches and managers, who are concerned about the statements that the IAAF and Diamond League management have made regarding the future of the Diamond League and the consequences for certain events, including the Discus and Triple Jump in particular.

This is our initial response based on limited time to communicate among our colleagues affected by the changes, but we felt it was important that we made a public statement at this time as we have been asked by various media channels for our collective thoughts, and so we felt that an open letter of response to yourself as the Elected Head and President of World Athletics, the best means of making our thought known.
