Cooking in Motion Passion for cooking, love for sharing and desire to explore the world around us!

Cooking in Motion was founded in late 2013 when Sebastian Mazzola (chef) & Sussie Villarico (sake sommelier) decided to leave their daily routines behind and set out on an adventure of their own. Prior to this they were both working with Albert Adriá in Barcelona, Spain; Sebastian as the creative director of the restaurants 41° Degrees, PAKTA and TICKETS and Sussie in the front of the house at PAK

TA. Cooking in Motion is a project combining the things they love and appreciate most; Passion for cooking, love for sharing and desire to explore the world. Cooking in Motion offers restaurant consulting, creation of gastronomic concepts, pop up events, cooking courses, master classes and private dinners. The young and passionate couple has until now performed in 14 different countries with Cooking in Motion including:
Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Russia, UAE (Dubai), United States, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Norway, Denmark and UK and Japan. For bigger events the team counts with highly experienced chefs, waiters, sommeliers and bartenders.

Join us on Sunday March 8th when we will be cooking a delicious brunch together with our great friend and chef Diego Gutierrez from Peru, who is currently working in Noma in Copenhagen.⁣
The brunch will be served in our new venue Arigato Barcelona located in the Eixample area.

A-la-carte menu with prices starting from 8€ per dish.⁣

The price of the ticket (10€ per person) will be discounted on the final bill.⁣

Diego es un chef de Perú que actualmente está trabajando en el restaurante Noma en Copenhague.⁣

Este brunch sera la primera oportunidad de disfrutar nuestro nuevo espacio ARIGATO que se encuentra en el Eixample, Barcelona. ⁣

Serviremos un menú a la carta con platillos empezando desde 8€. ⁣

Pop up dinners in Ashiya!
We are looking much forward to the next couple of days where we will be cooking in 甘空 in Ashiya, Japan!
We will be cooking for 10 guests only on Wednesday and Thursday, 18th and 19th of September.
Our tasting menu will include products from some very special farmers and providers we have been visiting in Kochi prefecture the last days!
The menu will of course be paired with a selection of Japanese sake.

hotel it. is the amazing venue where we will be cooking our pop-up dinner tomorrow evening!
This super cool and beautiful hotel opened its doors a few months ago and we feel very honored and excited to be given the opportunity to make an event here.
We highly recommend anyone planning a trip to Osaka to stay at this great place!
The lobby/lounge area is a great place to hang out and also for getting some work done.
Rooms are beautiful and super comfortable.
And it’s located just two stops with the metro to Namba.
The perfect base for a visit to Osaka!
