Störung nace en Barcelona en el año 2006 y como su nombre indica (störung significa “interferencia”) el propósito principal de las obras es interferir en los actuales estilos de música electrónica y ofrecer un sonido alternativo y diferente. Para llevar a cabo este propósito, el pilar de la plataforma es la experimentación e improvisación en el campo de la síntesis del sonido y de la imagen en tiempo real, creando un entorno audiovisual único. En la actualidad Störung desarrolla las siguientes actividades principales: Störung Studios, Störung Festival, Störung Workshops, Störung Label y Störung Radio.

Störung presents ‘Unpredictable Stability’ a project by Asférico (sound) and dextro.org (video)
The consequent otherworldliness and selective unpredictability of this video series (of which '74a' is just the first one) conveys the notion of a world not without conflict, but without surveillance and control to the DNA and thought level, and therefore, despite of it's seemingly dark and somber mood and obvious stability, hints to sparkling possibilities and parallel views arising at every moment from frequencies and algorithms as expressions of our free will and creativity.

‘The 5th Apple’ is the debut album of sound artist Alina Kalancea, produced at Störung Studios. The album is both a deep spoken word within an impressive sound structure whilst also being a multilayered sonic composition complimented by profound introspections. It is an impressive journey, along which sound artists Alex Gámez (Asférico), Julia Kent and Raven Bush have collaborated, producing astonishingly rich sonic environments and venturing into inner abysses, fears and repressed emotions on the way. If we listen close enough we will find an incredibly elaborate and meticulous sound composition with remarkable subtleties, layers and sonic nuances, if we plunge deep enough we can get rid of some prowling fictions which stand in the way of life and find powerful liberating truths. Today, the platform includes the Störung Events, Label, a Professional Sound Studio, Radio, Gear Distribution and offers also a range of different Workshops connected to this concept.
