I understand many people are dissapointed as we are fully booked for Christmas Dinner.

It was done fairly and with first refusal given to residents.

Now this is my first time organising a Christmas Dinner here at villamar and I have done the same that it was planned last year. Yes I believe we can learn from this as clearly a lot more people want to join us for Christmas Dinner.

In the new year I will explore ways we can accommodate a lot more people for Christmas Dinner next year and possibly organise it differently. Even if it means two sittings where we could possibly do 130 and 130. However i need to explore the logistics of this with management and see if we have the capacity to do this in the kitchen. Any positive input would be appreciated.

Everyone that has tickets, you are in for a fantastic afternoon of entertainment and a delicious Christmas Dinner. I will announce the entertainment for the Christmas Dinner very soon!

I APOLOGISE TO ANYONE STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM EMAILS ETC BUT WE HAVE BEEN INUNDATED. IT HAS BEEN IMPOSSIBLE TO REPLY TO EVERYONE OVER 500 ENQUIRIES.

WITH OVER 200 ENQUIRIES RECEIVED ON THE FIRST DAY OF ANNOUNCING THE DINNER MOST OF THESE HAVE TAKE UP THE AVAILABILITY. I WOULD LOVE TO ACCOMMODATE EVERYONE BUT THIS JUST ISNT PRACTICAL.

Re… Christmas Day.
We are experiencing unprecedented demand for Christmas dinner this year and we are restricted to only 120 places. If you have paid and received a confirmation and
/or your tickets you are in!!! If you have emailed and still waiting for a reply it’s very unlikely that there will be any tickets left. I will reply to each email as I can but we are inundated at the moment. To give you an idea, the inbox has 239 requests for Christmas dinner and we only have space for 120. Over 48 emails were received within the first 10 minutes of us announcing the dinner. When we have officially sold out I will let you know here.

The distribution process has been fair and priority was initially given to residents.

We would love to accommodate everyone for Christmas dinner but this just isn’t practical or possible.

What a busy day!!! A great afternoon and evening of entertainment. Been busy today setting up and dismantling equipment from the terrace so not had chance to update the weekly shows… this will be done Tuesday. Thanks for your patience.
In relation to Christmas Day… we will be in the clubhouse Wednesday and Thursday from 6pm to take payments and deposits.
