Back doing what we do today. Family, Grandparents from Las Vegas and Children and grandchildren from Colorado. Each had an adventure to choose, the 10 year old chose us 😁.

I think yesterday was my 2nd hottest day with Cooking guests 42c at LR, 10 years ago I topped at 45c - 🥵🔥.

A family group of 7 from Singapore coped well, copious amounts of water, bags of ice, misters, fans and ice towels 🤣.

I only took 2 photos, one of the Tartare Tropical and one of me with a wet tea towel on my head 🫣

Gazpacho season.

Don't worry about a recipe just whizz up what you have in the fridge ( veggies & fruit )

This one is, 2 Large Tomatoes, 2 padrón peppers, 1/2 a Spanish spring onion, 1 granny smiths apple, our EVOO and sherry vinegar. Topped with hard boiled eggs, and quick pink 🩷 pickled onions and basil.

I have a new obsession, perfect for these temperatures. Homemade ice-cream, sorbet and frozen cocktail 🍸🍹

Having fun experimenting with flavours.

1. Peach 🍑 and cream with pistachio & Frozen berry and vanilla protein.

2. Black cherry sorbet.

3. Mango frizzante.

Miles from home last night high up in Montefrio, but when your favourite clients, we have a few 😉 recommended us to their friends last year we were fully booked, so they booked last year for this year 😂 and for next year. I might stay the night next time, it was a long, late journey home.

Tastes of Spain menu, including refreshing Tinto de verano, our new house wine and my favourite pud wine, PX.

Home Made Wholemeal, olive and sun-dried tomato buns, Tapas, embutidos and queso platter, salads, Arroz Marisco and Arroz Campesino and our most chosen postre, Almond and Orange tort.

Hello July, 🌞.

A challenging behind the scenes day, admin, end of quarter accounts, website updates... together with power cuts, no internet and Sanidad visit...the joys 😂

But it's now, ice in your wine season, late suppers, once the sun sets, and burning the candle at both ends 😉.

Oh and Drakie's made supper, every cloud and all that.
