The Story of Deep Roots and the our NEW adventure in Ibiza
The seeds of the business go back to the 2002 when Kevin Becker started cooking with Marc Fosh in his renowned Michelin star restaurant in Mallorca. His entrepreneurial spirit and early success drove him to quickly expand the business to a cookery school and restaurant in Palma. From here the roots of the catering company began, and few years later they dedicated themselves completely to the catering business as it had such success.
Fabrizio Giunta, has been in the banqueting business for more than fifteen years and together, they are the perfect balance for one of the most successful catering companies in the Balearic Islands, Marc Fosh Catering.
Through the years, the DNA of both Kevin and Fabrizio has never changed. Rooted in the belief that, “We are only as good as our last event,” its culture centers on creativity, planning and flawless ex*****on.
Unparalleled food, prepared by a passionate international team of chefs, combined with personal, caring and professional service is the core of what defines our Catering services.
Today, the company operates a select group of exclusive venues and has preferred relationships throughout the Balearics. From luncheons at a Castle, a tented wedding in a cliff next to a lighthouse in Menorca, or an intimate cocktail reception at a private residence in Ibiza, Kevin and Fabrizio had garnered diverse, in-depth experience over the years partnering with generations of families, corporations and philanthropic organizations.
They started this new project Deep Roots thanks to the great opportunity to collaborate with a new partner to run our adventure in Ibiza, Oriol de Mesa.
Oriol has the ability to make the event planning process a breeze. His experience in hand-customizing your menu, managing all logistics and particulars to make our events a complete success.
Chef Luciano’s restaurant background includes Villa Joya in Portugal and Sketch and Nahm in London, all holding Michelin stars. His expertise transforms the simplest ingredients into gastronomic delights, such as his sensational Mango gazpacho or the showstopping seabass, marinated then served carpaccio style with preserved lemons, julienne green apple and a Japanese ponzu gel.
