WHY GET MARRIED & ITS ORIGINAL MEANING!
Marriage has its origins in the Latin word 'matrimoniu' meaning 'mother' and 'the action, state or condition'. This then became the Old French word 'matremoinme' which developed into the Middle English word 'maraige'. The original word could be used as a noun for husband in male form or wife in female form2.
The literal meaning is a state of being united as spouses in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law.
The reason for getting married i feel is different for everyone as marriage doesn't have one universal meaning and the reality is, in some cultures its forced upon woman of a very young age or is matched with someone that has much in common on paper, however, maybe not so much in matters of the heart but i know of some examples that actually work out and they grow to love one another so you see, for me, marriage is not to be taken likely and feel it's important that we know what it means for us as an individual as i feel that for the majority it's a beautiful union of love, loyalty and an infinite declaration of love to one person but all reasons are respected they these may not all be glorious for everyone 🥰❤

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE START PLANNING A WEDDING IN SPAIN?
Most newly engaged couples will start looking how to get started with wedding planning a year, even two years in advance, this will depend on their unique, individual circumstances and urgency and when thinking of a destination wedding, even earlier as there can be a lot of overwhelm and excitement colliding as a same emotion asking the million dollar question: OMG, where do i start?
The answer to this question is GET YOURSELF A WEDDING PLANNER!!
There is no golden rule when to start planning your wedding but the sooner the better, even if most of the details, payments start to be made 6 months prior to your wedding date to suppliers.
Spain in particular does not tend to have prices even for a year in advance, they tend to revise prices from year to the next at the end of each year, therefore, this can make getting estimates so far in advance a little difficult but if you have a local wedding planner, they will be able to advise you best as they will know the venues and how they work which in return brings peace of mind. ❤

Andrea & Simon got Married on the 12th of August 2023 also at what once was The Beach House Jávea, therefore, it will be there 1st year anniversary soon.
We also got very close, however, lost contact due to change in profesional circumstances but i wish them infinite love and happiness on their journey to the future.
Another wonderful couple and believe me, there are so many more in my memories and heart, thank you ❤

WHAT ARE THE BEST MONTHS TO GET MARRIED IN SPAIN?
It is true to say that the climate is changing all around the world as we know, in fact many changes including political and economical are in constant motion which creates uncertainty and the unknown to the majority of us, therefore, inevitably couples looking to get married abroad.
As a wedding planner located here in Jávea, Costa Blanca, Spain, i can only go on my experience of the months when most weddings are celebrated and advise but this doesn't mean to say that its not possible to get married out of season and the weather still be great as there are huge advantages and disadvantages either way, therefore, this would be down to a personal choice.
To find out more about these, please get in contact for me to help you clarify the best time for you to get married in Spain according to your own wants and needs.
In my opinion, overall, May, June, September, October, November and even December are the best months to get married not just because of the weather but for the meaning of these months also ❤

Blanca & Javier got married the same day as us 6th of May 2023 at what was the Beach House Jávea, a Venue/ Rooftop restaurant I worked for exclusively as a wedding an Event planner here on the Costa Blanca Spain 🇪🇸.
Originally they were getting married on the 10th of June 2023 but changed it due to limited accommodation available in Jávea at that time and therefore the only date they saw fit was the same wedding date as us which meant that I couldn’t be there to celebrate with them and look after them.
We stayed in contact due to amazing connection from the beginning and here we are a year later meeting up not only with Blanca & Javier but with their wonderful family & friends, thank you ❤️🙏
I am all about uniting people in love and harmony which makes my job all the more fulfilling as I get to not only help plan such a memorable, special day with my couples but I also get to share that love and friendship with them forever which is priceless.
These two are very special and I simply wish them infinite love and happiness and a lifetime of friendship that I shall forever treasure ❤️
