Marcia Bravo Celebrant

Marcia Bravo Celebrant Black, passionate and eclectic Malaga wedding celebrant. I help couples achieve their weddings aspi Why not!!

Marcia Bravo is a Black, Afro Caribbean celebrant originally from Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK, located in Málaga capital writing and officiating bespoke destination wedding ceremonies for couples in the UK and Spain. Marcia´s specialisms are in alternative ceremonies, bilingual, multicultural, multiracial, elopements, LGBTQ+ and micro weddings. Her skill is in the unique way she weaves her couples

love story and journey to marriage into a vibrant mix of alternative ceremonies that include symbolic rituals like the hand-fasting ritual. This is what makes her popular with busy couples working within sectors like law, charitable sectors, sales, medical practioner´s, marketing, Interior design, fashion design, life coaches and many others couples who regard themselves as creatives or offering services to people that make them feel good about themselves. These are couples who are seeking an alternative fun and vibrant wedding, who love life. Marcia´s vibrant, passionate, creative and eclectic style is addictive and it´s easy to see why couples are attracted to her wedding offer. Her vibrance, but equally natural ora of warmth, is what couples are seeking and this is well reflected in her personality, heritage and vault of life experience and skills listening to the stories of individuals she supported for more than 20 years. Marcia is a very humble person but on hearing her speak about her past career, it becomes evident that she is very proud of her efforts over the years in respect of helping others. If someone had told me that in the future, I would learn to speak Spanish, I would probably have thought maybe!! I´ve always considered Spanish as a very romantic language and loved the vibrant culture…

But if they´d said Marcia there´s more you´re going to become a celebrant and write and officiate bespoke destination wedding ceremonies in the UK and Spain; I don´t think, I would have believed them…but it´s really been one of the best things I´ve ever done…

Hi I´m Marcia, Fondly known as “M “or “MB”, Celebrant originally from Leeds, UK, now located in Málaga capital. Just like the dreams of couples with whom I love to work with, your dream of a wedding and my dream to become a celebrant began from an idea on paper. For me it was the idea or revelation that I could continue to use my vault of experience of listening, supporting and motivating individuals, applying this to couples looking for an alternative wedding ceremony. With my creative side from my love of abstract painting and ceramics and a real passion for working with people; I took the plunge and trained to become a celebrant. This seed became a dream and with training and really looking within myself to find the qualities that I already possessed to be an amazing celebrant; my dream has now become a reality. What I love the most; I still have to keep pinching myself to see if I´m dreaming or awake; is that as a Celebrant I get to create and officiate bespoke wedding ceremonies for couples and I get to create memories that last a lifetime too. My style is vibrant and eclectic; it´s in the bright clothes I wear, my crazy hair!! my passion for bringing your wedding story alive makes me thrive… If you want colour then that´s exactly what you´ll get. If you want a ceremony that´s full of life, includes symbolic Hand-fasting, Sand ceremony, Jumping the broom or other cultural rituals and more then that´s me…

If this style resonates with you and you can imagine your wedding ceremony with colour or colourful metaphors; Get in touch to see where we can go…and how I can take your dreams from paper to reality; creating memories that a lifetime…

Hi it´s M,

Welcome to this Friday.

What makes multicultural and bilingual ceremonies special?

Multicultural and bilingual wedding and elopement ceremonies continue to be in demand. One principal reason is because couples want to celebrate their authentic selves on one of the most important days of their lives. A relationship and marriage begin with the two main characters, then embracing the wider families in many cases.

It´s a great way to share your individual heritage, which makes your relationship rich within the same ceremony. You determine the elements you want to include. Your celebrant will guide, support and enhance your ideas and can suggest interpretations of your ideas that maybe you hadn´t considered.

They are one of your biggest fans, working to deliver a fusion of either language or cultural elements as they narrate your journey from first moments to celebrating your wedding.

A bilingual ceremony is very similar to a multicultural, except it enables your guests to follow. Commonly the ceremony is weaved between two languages, but occasionally more may be included in various ways. Cues are both visual and audible.

Are you planning a bilingual or multicultural wedding ceremony in Spain, in 2025 or 2026, I´d love to hear your story?

Let me help you to take your wedding dreams from paper to reality, creating memories that last a lifetime.

Hi, it´s M,

Welcome to this Friday.

Things to consider when planning your own elopement

Elopements offer a unique and intimate way to celebrate your love. Furthermore, planning on your own can be an incredibly rewarding and fulfilling experience. Here are some considerations to get you started.

1. First step in planning your elopement is to determine your vision and establish a budget. Discuss, atmosphere, style, and location you both envision.
2. Selecting the perfect location is one of the most exciting parts, so find a place that holds significance for you or that captures the essence of your love story.
3. Research legal requirements if you´re planning to legally marry in your chosen location. Many couples choose to do this at home and celebrate their ceremony separately.
4. Elopements are often more intimate, but you might require the services of suppliers, such as a florist, celebrant and styling. Source those whose style aligns with your vision.
5. Consider hiring a professional photographer who specializes in elopements to ensure every detail is beautifully captured.
6. Following your elopement ceremony, consider ways to personalize the experience, opt for a menu that includes your favourite dishes or consider a private chef experience.
7. Plan your travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance.
8. On your elopement day, practice mindfulness to be fully present to enjoy your unique experience.

Hi it´s M,

Welcome to this Wednesday!

Sending huge Happy 1st Anniversary wishes and vibes to a lovely couple A & T, who travelled from Florida for their elopement. They celebrated their love on a beautiful beach in Torremolinos, Malaga, Spain; with a few friends in tow.

The location was perfect, juxtaposed against the sea, with the sounds of the waves and surreal views, reminding them of their first encounter. And as the ceremony came to a close, the sun was beginning to set in the background.

I´m amazed at how time has flown since we were together, last year, where I shared your special moment with you with a ceremony that was very inclusive, vibrant in many ways, including the sunflowers that surrounded you. And if that wasn´t enough a sand blending celebrating the joining of two families, with great input from your biggest fans present in Malaga to celebrate with you…

Thanks A & T for trusting me to be your celebrant, it was an awesome experience from start to finish, and not forgetting my first Thanksgiving with you.

Hi it´s M,

Welcome to this Friday,

I recently had the pleasure of officiating the wedding ceremony of R & T, a lovely couple who travelled from the UK to Malaga, to celebrate their love with family and friends from many different parts.

It was a ceremony in beautiful Mijas, and although the clouds were looming, the rain held off and we managed to enjoy a ceremony full of fun, romance, with great vibes and participation from everyone in attendance.

It was brilliant working with a great team of suppliers including hospitality, Co-ordinator Sara from Ilunion Hacienda de Mijas and many others.

Thanks R & T for trusting me to be your celebrant and allowing me to help you create memories that will last a lifetime. It really was a pleasure and good fun getting to know you both and being able to share your special moment with you …
