Hi it's M ... Even when there's rain at a wedding the show must go on, and it no different here for me today. Today l'm working on a few of my first wedding scripts for the new season but today instead of enjoying the motivational sun, l have a windy, rainy day with darker skies to look at through the window!! But as a true celebrant, I'm not going to let that get in the way of writing my wedding ceremonies and that's the same attitude l have at your wedding rain or ☀️. Although, admittedly, l have replaced the motivational sun with a full bar of chocolate to keep me motivated and in happy land... Hi, I'm M... Just arrived, it's great to meet you!! I love meeting couples from all over the world, often working with couples travelling from destinations such as but not limited to the USA, Australia, UK or who are residing in Spain or Gibraltar. I worked in the UK charity sector for approximately 26 years before deciding to move to Spain, specifically Malaga. I knew from an early age that l wanted to help people, and that's exactly what l did. Initially working within housing association's then moving to specialised supported housing and later working with victims of crime. I didn't find celebrancy, it found me... I trained as a wedding celebrant with the AMC academy of modern celebrants and have not looked back since. I love the most helping couples to take their Wedding dreams from paper to reality in a way that fits their style, personality and values. To be able to support and motivate them, in their journey and celebrate with them on one of the most important days in their life's journey together is what really excites and makes me happy!! Hi it's M 5 Tips to keep guests cool at your summer wedding 1. Choose a venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, with indoor air-conditioned areas and shaded outdoor spaces. 2. Provide plenty of shade. Ensure there's lots of shaded areas for guests to relax and cool down. Consider renting umbrellas, canopies. 3. Offer refreshing drinks to keep guests hydrated. Offer a selection of infused water stations with fruits and herbs, chilled fruit juices and summer cocktails for later. Don't forget to provide non-alcoholic options too. 4. Encourage your guests to dress comfortably for the weather by suggesting light and breathable fabrics. Consider providing hand fans or parasols that match your wedding theme. 5. Schedule the ceremony and outdoor activities for the cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late afternoon or evening. Remember, a little extra thought and preparation can go a long way to ensuring you and your guests have an enjoyable experience.
