If someone had told me that in the future, I would learn to speak Spanish, I would probably have thought maybe!! I´ve always considered Spanish as a very romantic language and loved the vibrant culture…

But if they´d said Marcia there´s more you´re going to become a celebrant and write and officiate bespoke destination wedding ceremonies in the UK and Spain; I don´t think, I would have believed them…but it´s really been one of the best things I´ve ever done…

Hi I´m Marcia, Fondly known as “M “or “MB”, Celebrant originally from Leeds, UK, now located in Málaga capital. Just like the dreams of couples with whom I love to work with, your dream of a wedding and my dream to become a celebrant began from an idea on paper. For me it was the idea or revelation that I could continue to use my vault of experience of listening, supporting and motivating individuals, applying this to couples looking for an alternative wedding ceremony. With my creative side from my love of abstract painting and ceramics and a real passion for working with people; I took the plunge and trained to become a celebrant. This seed became a dream and with training and really looking within myself to find the qualities that I already possessed to be an amazing celebrant; my dream has now become a reality. What I love the most; I still have to keep pinching myself to see if I´m dreaming or awake; is that as a Celebrant I get to create and officiate bespoke wedding ceremonies for couples and I get to create memories that last a lifetime too. My style is vibrant and eclectic; it´s in the bright clothes I wear, my crazy hair!! my passion for bringing your wedding story alive makes me thrive… If you want colour then that´s exactly what you´ll get. Welcome to this Friday,

I recently had the pleasure of officiating the elopement ceremony of a lovely couple G & B, who travelled from the United States with a few of their family fans to Gibraltar to celebrate their love…

Although, their special day came with rain, we didn´t let this change anything.

The ceremony was intimate, personal, with sea in the background. There was lots of love, reflection, and happy tears. In addition the ceremony was an ode to John Lennon and Yoko Ono, one of their biggest fans, who also eloped in Gibraltar too.

Thanks G & B for trusting me to be your celebrant and allowing me to share such a special journey and moment with you and your family, I really enjoyed our experience together.

Valentine´s day is considered one of several dates to ask your significant other if they Will! So, if you´re thinking of proposing here´s a few considerations to get you started…

First things, first, have you had the conversation that when we are married, we will and some day we will, if yes then you´re probably good to go. If not don´t worry, discretely start approaching the subject of how your future might look together. If the subject of marriage doesn´t come up, reach out to your partner´s close friends and family for help.

Once you´re feeling confident, start to think about the finer details, the where and the how you want to propose. What´s really important and extra special for your partner? Is it the restaurant where you first had dinner, the location of your first holiday, a place that you´ve both dreamed of visiting together or with close family and friends present?

When you´ve got an idea in mind, flesh out details. Remember your relationship is unique to you. Does you´re partner want a traditional ring? Think about what they would prefer.

Hi it's M ... Even when there's rain at a wedding the show must go on, and it no different here for me today. Today l'm working on a few of my first wedding scripts for the new season but today instead of enjoying the motivational sun, l have a windy, rainy day with darker skies to look at through the window!! But as a true celebrant, I'm not going to let that get in the way of writing my wedding ceremonies and that's the same attitude l have at your wedding rain or ☀️. Although, admittedly, l have replaced the motivational sun with a full bar of chocolate to keep me motivated and in happy land...
