So About This Route:

Name: Charco del Canalon River Hike
Location: Istan
Distance: 6kms
Elevation: 110m

We've explored this route a few times, and its absolutely perfect for the Summer Months, as you get to enjoy & swim in the beautiful Rio Verde, and bask in the stunning waterfall.

We'll be starting the River Hike at 10:00am - when it’s a little cooler 🕙🌎💪🏾⛰

The route isn't too long... just 3kms each way. However, the terrain down to the Waterfall itself is literally tricky. It involves swimming, scrambling, climbing, and hiking along the river. So if your balance isn't too good, this may be one you have to sit out.

Also, it's great to get into the Rock Pools and enjoy the Waterfall, so its advisable to bring adequate footwear with lots of grip - and you must be able to swim.

They class the route as medium difficulty, just because of the swimming, uneven terrain, river crossings and odd bits of climbing over wet rocks. So please only join us if you are physically fit, have good balance and enjoy getting wet 🌊🌊🌊😂😂😂

There'll be lots of time to jump in, swim and have a picnic in the sunshine 🤿🩱🩲🩳🤿

Join us for a wonderful night at the incredible location of Villa Padierna in Benahavis at a concert by candlelight listening to the music of Queen played by a brilliant string quartet.

This Sunday we have the trip to the Caminito del Rey, at El Chorro. This is an incredibly beautiful area and will take your breath away.

We have a professional guide with us for the walk then we can have lunch (this is optional & not included in the price) in the stunning setting of La Garganta Hotel afterwards, the views from here are incredible too.

The price does include transport to and from Marbella.

On Friday evening we will be watching the sun go down at the beautiful Trocadero Estepona.

We are meeting at 19.00/19.30.
