We are very much spoiled with delicious meals in Spain. And even more delightful than a delicious meal, it’s a delicious experience, like a rich paella cooked live in your villa.

Our guests had one yesterday: both the paella and the experience. It was a celebration of the yearly reunion of a beautiful group of women.

Thank you so much to our talented chef for making the event unique. Everything just lined up perfectly.

Here´s a big thank you to our guests for their genuine interest in taking up the art of making paella. And as we do in Spain on a Sunday lunch, they sat around the table and chatted for hours. Lots of laughing, anecdotes, jokes, lessons and everything in between!

The kind of ‘sobremesa’ we cherish most in life in Spain - a time ‘over the table’ when we learn to appreciate the true riches of life.

Memorable day at the Moroccan desert 🏜️

🔸Headed off into the vastness of the dunes, and, on route, met the kindest camel guide and his caravan 🐪

🔸Visited Rissani´s market, where the tribes and nomads come to trade their produce

🔸Explored the mines of Mfis, located on a high plateau with a spectacular panoramic view of the dune sea. Amazing to listen to the story behind Hassan’s gemstone collection

🔸Visited the Marine Fossil Quarries -360 million years old- with countless unique handicrafts

🔸Drove on the tracks used in the Dakar Rally to reach Gara Medouar, a spectacular mountain which has been the scenario of many films and series for its charm…

Highlight from our trip to Ronda ☀️

We started the day with the sunrise over the stunning gorge, visited the Bullring of the Royal Cavalry, got surprised by peacocks putting on a show, and embarked on a journey of wine appreciation at our absolute favourite winery, where we sampled probably the best reds in the region and savoured food locally sourced and cooked by the winemakers in the family kitchen.

This Ronda Wine Tour is a remarkable combination of picturesque scenery, rich history, inspiring energy, the kindest winemakers and ultimately a fully-immersive experience, which allows you to discover the magic of this region for yourself 💫

Unforgettable day in the capital of the Costa del Sol ☀️ ~ part II

Walked in the sunshine, wondered around our favorite markets, gazed at Malaga skyline, rub shoulders with the locals, ate our body weight in soupy seafood paella, belly laughed and much more.

Oh and let’s not forget the ice cream🍦

Lovely to see so much of our local produce on display. In such a small space so much diversity and history.

Today we did a pit-stop at this beautiful terraza at @hoteldonmiguelronda We had a traditional Spanish appetizer overlooking unrivalled views of the spectacular ‘Puente Nuevo de Ronda’ that left us richer than when we arrived. �To be fair, nothing can beat a traditional ´mollete’ of Jamon Iberico, acorn-fed with a hint of herbs, olives and chestnuts whilst taking in this view. It tantalizes your taste buds while visually dazzling your eyes... All at one magical time.
