Home in Galicia The project to build a retreat from the worlds woes in Galicia. Somewhere for artists to congregate. And you are all welcome.

Our goal is to create a place where people can experience all things artistic in a place of beauty and peace. A place where hands on authentic travel can truly be experienced. Whether you are inspired by Music, Painting, Wine making, walking the Camino, Weaving, Pottery, Blacksmithing we have you covered. . The House has a wine Bodega performance space spilling out to a private enclosed courtyard and spectacular views of the lake from our sundeck gallery. Our courtyard has a fully functional medieval Blacksmiths Forge, cooking facilities, Orange, and Lemon trees, Red currant, Fuchsia and Wisteria. Relax in our large chestnut wine barrel that serves as a soaking tub for those hot summer days. There are 3 bathrooms on site and we have currently 5 bedrooms configured for ten guests in local Albergues rustic style . There is a traditional kitchen with both gas and wood fired stove, this in addition to the BBQ room with wood fired grill. The Winery is stocked with over 1000 bottles of our own aged local wine, and the locality is awash in fabulous wine deals. We are within meters of the lake on the Mino river which has swimming, fishing and inexpensive boat rental. There are many hiking and walking trails from the door including the famous Camino Santiago (Camino Minoto Ribero). There are 2 coffee shops and 4 bars within a mile and also a grocery store, a restaurant, bakery and butchers shop. The town of Ribadavia which is a short 2 miles walk has Banking, Grocery, medical, train and bus service in addition to numerous restaurants and a spectacular old medieval area with historic Jewish quarter.
