Alzacolas cantando en su territorio de cria.Tierras de Granadilla.

I was quite worried because the majority of the Rufous Bush Robin didn´t arrive. I thought maybe we were putting too many neonicotinoids pesticides in Africa but fortunately look like I was wrong and the birds arrive later cooler years. I took this video today in the morning after check several territories. Anyway June is the best moth for to watch these fantastic creatures. Do not hesitate to contact us if you want that we show you them.

Picnic with Alpine accentor and watching monuments of the middle age at the same time. The bird was inside the monastery. Amazing! Good route with Birding Holidays on the mountains.

El Varano acuático es tras el dragón de Komodo, el segundo mayor miembro de la familia Varanidae, llegando a medir 3 m de longitud total,3 aunque normalmente alcanza 2,5 m y pesa 20 kg. Esta foto esta tomada en el bosque de sinharaja ( Sri lanka).

Mucha gente considera que el marabu menor ( Leptoptilus javanicus) es un pájaro feo (Siento discrepar). Será que para mi no hay ningún pájaro feo de hecho me parece que tiene unos colores bastante llamativos.

A lot of people think Lesser adjutant ( Leptoptilus javanicus) is an ugly bird. I don´t think so in fact is quite colourful.

El Drongo de Ceilan ( (Dicrurus lophorinus) es una especie de pájaro de la familia Dicruridae endémico de Sri lanka. Previamente estaba considerado una subespecie del Drongo de raquetas grande (Dicrurus paradiseus).

Los Milanos negros jóvenes son incluso más bonitos que los adultos. Al tener el iris más oscuro suele costar un poco más enfocar bien el ojo. Este lo fotografiamos hace un par de jornadas a medio día... con una luz bastante fuerte.

Young Black Kite are even more beautiful than the adults ( Look like they are different species). This one was photographed two days ago in our place in Cabezabellosa) . I was the middle of the day and light was too strong. Anyway I think is not too bad🙂

Junio es la mejor época del año para visitar la montaña. Ayer tuvimos una buena sesión de fotografía especialmente con Escribano hortelano; aunque también pudimos disfrutar de Pechiazules y Papamoscas cerrojillos entre otras aves. Realizamos rutas de observación y fotografía de medio día y día completo. Anímate a disfrutar de la Naturaleza!

June is the best time for to visit the highest mountains. We had a very good photography session yesterday. Ortolan bunting was specially cooperative. Although we could also enjoyed with Bluethroat and Pied flycatcher ( Iberian races) inter alia.

We organise observation and photography routes of half and full day. Dare to enjoy Nature!

A pair of wryneck were calling constantly in my local path yesterday. They are quite regular migratory birds in Plasencia river walk and There are sightings in all seasons. So I suspect they could be breeding in small number. Although for the moment no one has found a nest. One of the birds of yesterday was inside the hole in the branch that can be seen on the picture. Seemed it was inspecting. who knows? I will be attentive...

We were seeing this Grey Phalarope yesterday. It is the seventh record for Extremadura. Thank you to Cesar Quijada for to find it. We were watching an osprey fishing as well in the same place.

Ayer estuvimos viendo este Falaropo picogrueso. Es la séptima cita para Extremadura. Gracias a Cesar Quijada por encontrarlo. Un Águila pescadora capturó dos peces delante de nosotros en el mismo lugar.

Day tour yesterday with people from Texas. 71 species in total.
Good views of 3 diferents Black shouldered kite, Marsh harrier, Squacco heron, Black vultures, extraordinary view of hawfinch, 6 Little bustard, 3 Pin Tailed Sandgrouse, 2 Great bustard, Hen Harrier and Little owl inter alia. Several herds of Red deers with big males.

Ayer ruta guiada con gente de Texas. 71 especies en total.
Buenas observaciones de Elanio ( Vimos tres diferentes). Garcilla cangrejera, Buitre negro, Aguilucho pálido, Sisón, Ganga ibérica, Avutarda, mochuelo y Picogordo. Siguen pasando muchas Collalbas grises y todavía se ven harenes con bonitos machos.

Buen día de ayer en Monfragüe con visitantes de Madrid. Vimos 5 bonitos machos de Ciervo en berrea, las hembras y jóvenes se acercaban a curiosear donde nosotros estábamos. A destacar lo bien que se observan últimamente los jabalíes, ayer vimos tres. Aprovechamos para ver algún ave también, los más interesante Vencejos cafres.
