A very popular and local dish to kick off your meal is "p'amb'oli." The literal translation is Bread and Oil, and it is a very popular snack here on the island.

it's rustic Mallorcan bread and olive oil, rubbed with local tomatoes and topped with Serrano Ham or Menorcan cheese.

It's a great option to give to your guests who are feeling peckish, and it's very flexible as you can serve it for the meat eaters or the veggies or leave off the cheese and ham and keep the vegans happy as well.

As we approach the summer we know that this is the time of year when many Mallorca residents have guests in their homes and plan a celebration. It might be a big birthday or an anniversary, but whatever the occasion, you want it to be memorable and fun!

We are here to help you to make your special party absolutely perfect, from start to finish.

We are Delicioso a top quality catering and provisioning company, we have been serving clients on the island since 2008.

INFORMAL PARTY MENUS
These menus are designed for groups of forty and upwards. Based on the premise of a four hour serviced event, our prices include food, drinks, staff and all of our equipment!

TAPAS & PAELLA
Designed to give your guests the authentic flavour of Mallorca and Spain. Choose from the local specialities menu created by our team and really offer a taste of the island. We serve hot and cold tapas, followed by a paella cooked onsite. We can also serve desserts on your request.

BBQ MENUS
Select your choices from our wide range of meats, fish and vegetarian options, add in your pick of classic salads, leaves, rice, grains, potatoes and pasta... and then leave the rest to us!

Mallorca is positioned as the perfect place for a destination wedding. You have so many wonderful venues to choose from, and many excellent and professional suppliers to work with, including us of course!

This photo is a little throwback to this time last year and the lovely wedding of Selena and Danny, and we are now entering the first peak of the wedding season for 2024, the "first" peak, because we actually have two:

Peak 1 is from the end of April until the middle of June
Peak 2 is from September to the end of October

There are a couple of reasons for these peaks:
1) The weather gets quite hot and in the middle of the summer on the island it can be challenging for you or or your guests to manage in the heat. Of course, if you want to marry at this time, then make sure you take precautions.

2) Availability and budgets. Keep an eye on the cost of flights and accommodation. we are very affected by the UK and German school holidays and prices rise accordingly for hotels and travel, and car hire.

We are so if you have any questions at all, just send us an email and we will answer your query! We are here to help you have the best first day of your married life that you can!

How does Delicioso work with its clients?

We offer introductory calls to start with. We do lots of calls and zoom meetings as well as face-to-face because so many of our clients are far away. Communication with your caterer or the company you are trusting to organise your wedding is really vital. We pride ourselves on that.

We are super efficient, flexible, and friendly and we give our honest opinion and advice which to people who are not familiar with the island is invaluable. We have been working here since 2008 so we know the island very well.

We have the best team staff team with the most incredible head chef and his team that work on all the weddings and events with heaps and heaps of experience. We offer Asian, Mediterranean dishes with a twist and we are able to offer many different authentic Spanish menus as well. We provide all the catering, we have all our own equipment that we use for the weddings, like the tables, chairs, china, etc.

We pride ourselves on really tailoring what we offer to each client. We don’t force a set menu on a couple or offer no flexibility. We have fabulous wedding packages, but they really are just a starting point for them to tailor their menu to exactly what they want.

If you are our client then you will see the passion in everything we do, from our first discussions with you through to the ex*****on of your dream on the day itself. We really believe in that and our testimonials from our clients verify it.

"I would like to thank you and all the staff for this amazing day. The staff were absolutely perfect, all of our guests were very happy, and so were we. The food was excellent and so were the waitresses and maitre d. They did a great job!"

We are delighted to have received this lovely message from Laura and Aurelien. We catered for their wedding this summer in the north of the island. They chose to have our Tapas and Paella Wedding & Events Package.

For canapes Laura and Aurelien chose:
Smoked Cheese Croquetas with Sour Cream
Teriyaki Glazed Chicken Skewers
Mexican Fish Ceviche
Mozzarella, Cherry Tomato & Basil Caprese Skewers
Chilled Melon Soup with Crispy Serrano Ham

Then we seated their guests and served tapas to the table which they shared, family style:
Albondigas
Pimientos de Padron
Patatas Bravas
Serrano Ham and Mahón Cheese Pa amb oli with Ramallet Tomato

Then for their main course, Laura and Aurelien chose to serve a Seafood paella and a Vegetarian paella. All served to their 60 guests in a private garden as the sun went down, what a great day!

A quick snapshot of Sarah and Cameron's fantastic wedding reception in Randa catered and equipped by Delicioso Mallorca. They welcomed 140 guests to celebrate their marriage with them, and it was a lovely occasion ❤️.

The menu included a lovely range of canapes served during cocktail hour.

We make bespoke barbecues which reflect YOUR choices.

For this recent BBQ we served:

Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms
Grilled Haloumi
Seabass with Olive Tapenade
Piri Piri Chicken with Sweet Mango Chili Sauce
Prime Galician Rib Eye Steak

Plus we served Rocket, Watermelon and Feta Salad, Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables with Pesto and Parmesan, and Rosemary Baked Jacket Potatoes with Sour Cream and Chives.

Here is our Delicioso Canape strategy for hungry wedding guests who can't wait until it's time for dinner (which is most of you we think!)

1) Figure out where the kitchen is and stand close to where the food is exiting from....
2) Stay alert for waiter movements
3) When the waiter offers you the tray, don't be shy, get stuck in and pounce!
4) Enjoy your food, we serve very generous portions, so don't worry another tray of yummies will be around soon.

What do our BBQs look like?
Well, it depends on what YOU want, but here's one we did recently in Cala Pi.
Do you want us to grill the meat and bring it to the tables, do you want it plated and served individually, or do you want it to be served with the buffet? Up to you.
All of these little decisions are part of the overall ambience and flow of your event, if you aren't sure then we can help you to make the choices.

Congratulations to Laura and Aurelien who recently married and celebrated with their families and friends up in the north of the island.

Straight after their beautiful ceremony we served their guests a canape reception of Smoked Cheese Croquettes with Sour Cream, Teriyaki Glazed Chicken Skewers, Mexican Fish Ceviche, Mozzarella, Cherry Tomato & Basil Caprese Skewers and refreshingly Chilled Melon Soup with Crispy Serrano Ham.

Then their guests were invited to sit down to continue their meal... Firstly we served Albondigas (Spanish meatballs), Pimientos de Padron (small green peppers with salt), Patatas Bravas (fried potatoes with a spicy sauce) and (pictured) Serrano Ham and Mahón Cheese Pa amb oli with Ramallet Tomato (a traditional local dish of slices of ham and cheese served on rustic local bread rubbed with garlic, tomato and oil).

All of these were placed on the tables and their guests were able to help themselves, and then we served two types of paella: a vegetarian version and a seafood one. Both were devoured which made us feel very happy indeed!
