Having previously only been exposed to touches of Bollywood in movies, I never realized the true importance and prominence of dance in the Indian culture. Dancing dominantes an Indian wedding; it was wonderful to see and our groom Sahil was the star of the show!

Anyone who knows me knows my LOVE for dogs! On our first of many planning calls I spotted Nova in the background and had to be introduced. I really doubted it when Varuna and Sahil said that they would be bringing her with them from Boston but they made it happen and she was the cutest ring bearer ever!

Summer wedding elegance from last year; note that we had to put the knives on the menu card to keep them blowing away; we removed them just before the guests sat down. A heavier favour or a place name with weight in it or a menu card that tucks into the napkin are things to think about to avoid the need for this!

Meet the team: Me, Val of Weddings Via Val; I have been doing this a very long time (first wedding was 2005!) and yet I still get the same butterflies in my tummy about each wedding day. I couldn’t do any of it without my own team and my wonderful vendors; I love that I know you, you know me and we all work together as a team.
