“Improvisation on grounds”
The variations on grounds has been one of the most widely used pedagogical tools in composition and improvisation in Europe. In the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy and of course Spain, we find a lot of examples, many of them of a pedagogical nature. At the Academy, in addition to working on Iberian grounds, we will work into technical aspects to create a base to improvise in other genres.
