QUERQ ry - Radical kindness & safer spaces
Founded in April 2019, the QUERQ association maintains a quirky cultural and co-working space in Nilsiänkatu 10, Vallila.
Our association builds on decentralized organizing. The space is run by our active members and volunteers. We are a mixed group of artists, performers, art educators, sexuality counselors, rope artists, writers, filmmakers, all interested in creating a safer and more diverse urban culture. With feminisms and curiosity we want to challenge the existing structures that are delimiting the expressions of intimacy and ways of co-existing.
We produce content ourselves and welcome collaborators to organise events, workshops, lectures, parties and artistic projects in the space. Every person who works at QUERQ ry space or attends as a guest agrees to uphold our safer spaces policy.
