So, what should you know about Mozgo when coming for the first time? Mozgo is a team game. This is an activity that involves friendly informal communication, collective attempts to solve tricky and often funny questions.

In order to play, you need to register. Just provide us with the name of your team and the number of players to be comfortably hosted. You should register under a special post on Mozgo Helsinki page. The registration starts few days before the game. Due to the limited number of seats, registering for the game is time sensitive, after the list maximum has been met, your team will be put on the waitlist (allowing you to play in case someone refuses to participate). While registering, make sure you indicate your team name and the number of players.
3. I do not have a team, but I really want to play. What do I do?
No problem, send us a message and we will find a team for you.
4. How many and what kind of questions are there in the game?
The quiz comprises 7 rounds of 7 questions each.
Rounds 1, 4 and 6 involve text questions (e.g. guess a term, an event or a phenomenon; translate a phrase; complete a quote or a statement; define a fact by several hints).
Round 2 is Breaking News, comprising the latest world news digest.
Round 3 is a Music Round (asking to guess a singer, a composer, a songwriter or an actual event the song is based on by the tune you hear).
Round 5 has picture-based questions (e.g. name the person in the picture, or guess the shot etc.)
Throughout the rounds 1-6 the host reads out the questions, displaying them for 40-60 sec. each on a large screen. Having read out all the 7 questions, the host repeats them at a faster pace and without intervals before setting the 100 sec. countdown. During the 100-second span all your answers should be carefully thought out and written down on the answer sheets, that are to be handed over to the hosts after the time is over.
Round 7 is a Speed Round suggesting 7 short questions covering a wide range of topics read out by the host and displayed on the screen for 15 sec. each, no repeats. You have 50 seconds to finish filling them out after the host has read the last question. You may also score additional points by checking the box against the answer, thus attaching a point value +2/-2 (correct/incorrect), unchecked boxes refer to the normal scoring system (1/0). So, the Lightning Round allows you to score the highest value of +14, or the lowest one of -14.
5. Do I need any special knowledge to answer questions?
Mozgo strives to avoid questions based on encyclopaedic knowledge, appealing to the player’s outlook and logical ingenuity. The correct answers are read out after each round for you to ensure how simple they really are. These moments usually allow everyone to make the most of the game.
Mozgo is primarily great fun, we aim at setting playful tone and relaxed atmosphere after your day at work.
