Dear SEC's lovely audience,

Only a few days left and the last year of the decade will come to an end. Throughout the past 3 years, we have had a lot of fun organizing different events and meeting so many amazing people along the way. Without your constant support and interest, we wouldn't have made it this far.

However, sad as it is, we regrettably have to announce that Saimia Event Club will now take a permanent rest. We still hope that you will treasure all the unforgettable memories that we shared together under the roof of Linnala Campus.

Once again, thank you for everything and we wish you a great journey ahead. Best of luck!

Student Chef Season 1: Culinary Arts - Contestant Application

Saimia’s Master Chef 2017 was a huge success regarding to home cooks, Saimia Event Club as well as Saimia University of Applied Sciences. Enjoyment in watching intense competition between diverse-background contestants. Moreover, burst of excitement the moment judges finally revealed the winners.

Saimia Event Club is once again bringing you a different version of Saimia’s Master Chef with uniqueness and of course, excitement.

Student Chef season I: Culinary Arts is welcoming students who have great dedication in creating delicious
yet fancy-look dishes.

The show occurs on these specific rounds:
• Registration: Contestants enroll with a mate, forming a pair and compete with others. Should you not have a pair, sign up individually and your team will be chosen randomly

• Training Day: 08/03/2019 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
- One of our main judges, Chef Jukka Moilanen will be giving instructions about kitchen guidance and other common knowledge.

• Elimination Round: 14/03/2019 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
- 4 teams will have extreme battles through 2 challenges for only 2 tickets to the Grand Finale. For each challenge, each team has maximum 1 hour to cook:
 Signature Dish: 4 teams are asked to re-make a Signature Dish base on individual tasting and suggested recipe. Winners of this round gets huge advantage towards the next.
 Mystery Box: curious ? Well then sign up for more information.

• Grand Finale: 28/03/2019 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- The final 2 teams will prove to judges their passion and talent with a 3-course menu. Cooking time allowed each course is 1 hour. Whichever menu impresses our judges the most will earn the FIRST STUDENT CHEF TITLE EVER
