Our coverage is scheduled to begin when the funeral cortège will depart Mokani morgue tomorrow morning from where Mr. Kotosaya Pai will spend his final hours with family after which a homegoing celebration service will commence from 9am at CMFI Faith Harvest Church before Tale Kotosaya is laid to eternal rest.

It is with both heavy hearts and deep gratitude that we celebrate the extraordinary life of Ana Tuimabuco Cibitaki, who was called to her eternal home on December 7, 2024, at the age of 84.

Mrs. Ana Tuimabuco Cibitaki was born to Tevita Kuruvakadua of Nasigatoka Village, Rewa and Teresia Dabuli of Naloto Village, Verata, Tailevu. She married Marika Cibitaki of Savu Village, Vugalei, Tailevu and passed onto glory peacefully in the presence of close family.

Ana Tuimabuco lived a life full of grace, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her strength and wisdom touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Ana’s love for her family, her vanua, and her faith was the cornerstone of her life.

Mrs. Cibitaki's legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched with her generosity and her ability to bring people together. She was a pillar of love, joy, and support for all who knew her. In her journey, she embodied the true meaning of service, showing others the importance of caring for one another with humility and grace. Her infectious smile and warm presence will forever be cherished in our hearts.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the wonderful moments we shared with her. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire us, and her spirit will remain with us always.

Our homegoing livestream will begin tomorrow morning when the funeral cortege will depart CWM hospital bound for Savu Village, Vugalei, Tailevu where we will have the homegoing celebration service after which Ana Tuimabuco Cibitaki will be laid to eternal rest in the village burial grounds.

Due to the uncertain internet reception in some areas in and around Savu Village, your Golden Oak Events team will pre-record all proceedings and will bring you an uninterrupted delayed coverage of the homegoing celebrations and final committal to glory later during the day.

Rest in peace, our marama qaqa ni Nailarube. You are forever loved, and your legacy will live on in the hearts. 🌸💖

Congratulations Jale Waqawai on your outstanding achievement! Mr. Waqawai was awarded the honorary Dux prize for Kasavu Primary School for the year 2024.

Jale hails from Naboutini village, Saqani, Cakaudrove and today along with the Dux award also managed to scoop all subject prizes and also the best athlete award for Kasavu Primary School scoring a mark of 453/500 in his Fiji Eighth Year Examination this year.

The soft spoken lad will join Queen Victoria School in the coming year and aspires to pursue a career in maritime once he concludes his secondary education.
