Upcycled projects are not only budget-friendly and good for keeping items out of the landfills, but they also look amazing!

Leather can be very expensive but Cathi from Scratch and Stitch
used an incredible find to make this gorgeous bag on her Janome HD-9!

"This bag was made from a suede leather coat I found for $5 at a garage sale. While the coat was worn in a few spots, the leather is so soft and made the perfect bag! Swipe to see the original coat. There’s still so much leather left for some matching accessories. 🙌"

When is the last time you cleaned your machine?

If it has been awhile, we encourage you to look under the hood for unsightly dust bunny buildup from fabrics and threads. These bunnies are not cute and can lead to bigger issues with your machine!

We recommend tidying up every 4 to 8 hours of sewing. If you are using lintier fabrics such as fleece, clean more often. Tighter woven synthetics would require less time in between cleanings.

Some of our Janome Artisans & Makers were sent our limited edition 100 Year Anniversary fabrics to make into whatever they desired! We had no idea what they would be making!

Now the completed projects are coming in and they are incredible!
