TOMORROW, a new episode of 💢 The half hour SEYTO 💢

Do you know how long it takes to prepare a 30 minute of DJ mix ❓

➡ At least 10 hours!? (When I get inspiration...)
Yes..., you have to:
- Imagine the story I want to tell
- Make a first careful selection of tracks
- Order them to tell the story you want
- Creating the mix gradually
- Remove unsuitable tracks and select others
- Redo the mix and play it again and again and again until it's worthy of your delicate ears 🤗
- Find the right place to record and film (and get permissions)

And finally put all of this in the box 🔊🎥

Savez-vous combien de temps il faut pour préparer un mix de 30 minutes ❓

➡ Au minimum 10h ⁉ (lorsque j'ai de l'inspiration...)
Eh oui..., il faut :
- Imaginer l'histoire que je souhaite raconter
- Faire une première sélection minutieuse des tracks
- Les ordonnancer pour raconter l'histoire voulue
- Créer le mix peu à peu
- Supprimer les tracks qui ne conviennent pas et en sélectionner d'autres
- Refaire le mix et le jouer encore et encore et encore jusqu'à ce qu'il soit digne de vos oreilles délicates 🤗

Et enfin, trouver le lieu adéquat (et obtenir les autorisations), et mettre tout ça dans la boite 🔊 🎥.


Mon assistant "Le Chat" 🐈 a du mal à suivre ce rythme...

En cherchant l’inspiration dans la forêt, je suis tombé sur un animal majestueux très rare. Tout le monde pensait même que l’espèce s’était éteinte dans la région.

🎧 Electrosmile invite Seyto - J-2 🎧

Aujourd’hui, nous vous présentons un autre de nos membres fondateurs et habitué de nos soirées: Seyto!

Seyto baigne dans l’évènementiel depuis son adolescence. D’abord régisseur pour l’évènementiel d’entreprise, il se tourne ensuite à ses heures perdues dans l’organisation et l’animation d’évènements privés familiaux. C’est en 2006 qu’il acquiert le premier contrôleur midi tout public avec lequel il appréhende en autodidacte, les techniques fondamentales du mix.

D’abord tourné vers la musique EDM, il découvre les styles house et progressive house lors d’un voyage de plusieurs mois en Europe de l’Est.

En parallèle, il fonde un club de nuit itinérant dans le nord de la France qui lui permet de progresser en djing et de se faire connaitre auprès du public. Il apparait ensuite dans des bars à thèmes et clubs de nuit lillois jusqu’en 2013 où il pose ses valises en Île-de-France.

Seyto vagabonde ensuite de clubs en warehouses à travers la capitale et s’adonne à la techno tout en gardant le move de la progressive house en s'inspirant de tous les DJs et producteurs (Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, Roger Sanchez...) qu’il déniche aussi bien en clubs, soirées underground, lieux de fête (Ibiza, Île de Pag...) et festivals internationaux.

En 2015 il fonde avec son équipe le collectif Electrosmile, pour que l’aventure continue.
