Have you even been injured while at work?

We all from time to time have an accident and most of the time it is minor and easy to recover. However when it is more serious we may need extra time to recuperate and heal.

Being self employed and running your own business is a risk and when it goes wrong you may be forced to stop to take time to heal. This means facing another challenge of keeping the bills paid and food on the table. If you have ever been in this situation you will understand that this can be very stressful on top of being injured.

I currently have a friend in this situation currently. He is one of my oldest friends, and if you have ever met Luke you would agree that he is one of the nicest, most loyal and hardworking people you could ever meet.

Unfortunately, Luke recently had an accident at work. He fell from a ladder landing on his back breaking a bone in his neck, in his back and several ribs. He is now recovering in hospital under the care of the NHS UK. So while he does not have to worry about medical bills, he has always made sure his family are well looked after and will of course have many other bills to pay.
