Proper northern hospitality in Manchester and London at the weekend.

I managed to road tested the next 33JOY_Paris release on the Spiritland system and had the pleasure of sharing a few of my fave tunes on the rig at Blossom.

Roast Dinners, Scotch Eggs and the odd pint of Guinness (it was paddy’s day yesterday after all)

As we’re all now emerging from our nests of winter hibernation, the cherry blossom is blowing hopefully in the breeze and the sun’s rays of optimism poke away the winter shadows.

It’s been real nice to see a few friendly faces so far this year and hear what people be planning. I can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to seeing more smiling compadres as the days get lighter later.

So, I think it’s almost time I start sharing some of my own music with you all.

October 10th, I have an EP coming out.

A crackly phone recording from Winter Jazz Festival in NYC, has somehow turned into a full blown musical project that has linked London, Los Angeles and Paris.

I’ve worked with some truly amazing people making this, I can’t wait to tell you all more about it.

‘The Wellness Project’ will be releasing via my own label and collective 33JOY_Paris

I’ve wanted to play at La Bellevilloise since I first visited the city many years ago. Thanks to Festival Pura Energia and Sambatuc for the booking.

A back to back session with the ambassadeur of all things samba, bossa and MPB, DJ Tom B.

I’ve dug deep and will channel my inner Gilles Peterson / Patrick Forge / Dom Servini, playing from the heart all things Brazilian, uplifting and percussive. 🇧🇷

New Year's Eve 2022/23 was the first new year I haven’t DJed out in a while.

Away from the noise, crowds and hustle, I chose instead to spend my time away from it all.
Walking, running and cycling around rural France - bang in the middle of the country surrounded by nature, friends, family and animals.

Before wrapping it up for the year I recorded a mix for the good people at Nebulah Radio as part of their annual day long takeover.
