On the subject of Riviera masterpieces, we thought we’d give you a hotel interlude with a celebration of French craftsmanship.
Ateliers Baudin, home of bespoke handcrafted eyewear – at the most luxurious level.
Owner Guillaume Clerc’s philosophy is that “each frame is unique”, but the soul behind this venture goes much further.
Savoir-faire, or ‘know-how’, is the essence here.
Guillaume has an almost obsessive passion for materials, always rare and very carefully selected; not only could you choose buffalo horn, but also tortoise shell, whose craftsmen can be counted on the fingers of one hand today.
With their workshop in the French Jura, region of deep forests and birthplace of glasses, Baudin are passionate about their unparalleled heritage and are reviving the age-old savoir-faire of this ancient yet celebrated art.
Heard of Meyrowitz? World-renowned luxury bespoke eyewear brand? Since Baudin’s glassmaker learnt his trade there, you can think of this precious brand as the heir of Meyrowitz. Heir of the savoir-fair, the knowledge, the materials… the journey here is moving to say the least.
And once you have a pair of your own Baudin glasses, you are part of a very special family of heritage, passion, and that truly one of a kind French craftsmanship.

Exclusive & Private

We couldn't imagine a better place that could illustrate our services and expertise.

Let me introduce this one of a kind and distinguished property in the heart of the Latin Quarter.

This 300 m2 (3 200 sq. ft) Parisian mansion from the 18th century has been completely renovated in 2016 to offer a contemporary and cosy atmosphere.
Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in the 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and the courtyard studio. It has a non-overlooked garden of 350m2 (3 700 sq. ft) where the only noises you hear come from the birds or the bells of church nearby. A beautiful backyard with patio furniture, a dining set, and a year-round 30°C (86°F) heated pool invites a natural element to the urban setting.
The house is located in a calm and secluded environment, just a few minutes away from well-known Panthéon, lively rue Mouffetard and historical Luxembourg gardens.
This mesmerizing mansion is available along with its staff for seasonal rentals during vacation and corporate events all-year long.

Chers amis,

Tour de France - STOP 11 - Nice to Monaco
Sun-drenched glamour. Movie-style views. The place to see and to be seen. The final stop on our road trip is, of course, the sublime French Riviera. Jump in, friends, for a drive to remember…
After a glimpse of the chic and charming Cannes and Antibes, we arrive in Nice, city of colour. This is a cool, joyous place full of real French people, far away from being resort-y. Nice only became fully French in the 19th century, and so a wonderful Italian House of Savoy spirit still lingers. Take a stroll down the Promenade des Anglais, or become a fully-fledged Niçoise and learn how to make ‘Les Petits Farcis’ (delightful stuffed vegetables, a traditional Nice recipe) in a private cooking course.
And of course we’ve got to make a quick stop at Cap Ferrat to show you a couple of our all-time favourites; the pink Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and the unique Ancient Greek style Villa Kerylos, both one of a kind it-venues for hosting spectacular events.
And now, the magical cliff road onto the exciting glitz of magnificent Monaco. The ultra-glamorous holiday destination with its heady casinos and stunning views; you know it all already so we won’t bore you, friends… we just wanted to let you in on our front-runner hotel, so that you’re ahead of the game for your next trip.
Away from the bling, Monaco has a chic side which Monte-Carlo Beach Club seems to encompass. A boutique hotel overlooking the sea with a Michelin-starred 100% organic restaurant, this jewel was designed for enjoying la dolce vita of the Riviera. And for the utmost privacy? Just above, you can rent the Villa la Vigie, a monumental, majestic mansion, once home to Karl Lagerfeld - it is up there with the most prestigious villas on the Riviera, a claim not often made.
And so here we leave you, friends, and what a trip it’s been! Just remember, ‘the world is a book, and those who do not travel only read a page’ - Saint Augustine.

Tour de France - STOP 10 - Marseille to St Tropez

‘You were never told that Saint-Tropez is paradise?’ - Karl Lagerfeld

We’re heading South, friends…
Let’s start with Marseille, the often-overlooked city of sun. There is a very special art de vivre here, a sort of authentic charm unique to the city. Take a walk around Le Panier, Marseille’s oldest district that has the feel of a Provencal village, followed by a visit to the spectacular Mediterranean-dedicated Mucem Museum.
But the real unmissable is the Calanques National Park. Enjoy a relaxing private cruise from the picturesque port of Cassis or put on your hiking boots to discover the paradisiacal white rocky cliffs and crystal-clear turquoise waters, a place that is as close to the definition of beauty as is possible.
And to sleep? For Cassis - Les Roches Blanches, the super chic art decor hotel. And for Marseille - the magnificent Hotel Dieu InternContinental.
Now let’s power around the coastline to the legendary beaches of St Tropez. Behind the noise and bling (that, let’s not deny, we all secretly love), pre and post season here is absolutely magical, and Manuel has discovered some incredible venues at which charming events are just waiting to be held.
For somewhere to rest your head, we have some new finds for you - alongside our all-time favourite, La Reserve Hotel Ramatuelle, of course.
Hotel La Figuiere is a delightful hotel surrounded by exquisite gardens yet only minutes from St Tropez, and the Lily of the Valley is an elegant, family-run wellness destination designed by Philippe Starck, with panoramic ocean views and incredible food. Then we have the quirky, bizarre yet amusing Hotel Ermitage, a place of deliberate mismatch with an exclusive feel. With each room by a different designer and the feline-themed Le TIGrr concept, you can expect some wild and wonderful nights here…

| STOP 2: BRITTANY |

With epic landscapes and a strong cultural identity, experiencing life by the sea in Brittany is the natural extension of a stay in Normandy.
The magical island of Mont-Saint-Michel is of course at the top of everyone’s list; a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is known as “the wonder of the Western world”. Take a walk barefoot in the sand towards the Mont, an unbelievable, almost spiritual, experience, before discovering the mysterious architecture of the gravity-defying medieval monastery
And afterwards, take a trip back to the 19th century with a stroll around the sophisticated Dinard, France’s most fashionable summer resort amongst the British aristocracy before the French Riviera took over. Think magnificent villas, elegance, the English Rose…
But Brittany also has a wilder side. No trip here is complete without a visit to Cancale, kingdom of oysters. Grab a plate of fresh oysters on the harbour, or even at one of the farms with your feet drifting in the water. And for the real food connoisseurs out there, we suggest hiring a helicopter from Bayeux to the magnificent Château Richeux overlooking the Mont-Saint-Michel, and head to Le Coquillage restaurant to meet Oliver Roellinger, Neptune of the gastronomy world. This ‘chef of the sea’ gave up his previous 3 Michelin stars to devote himself purely to his art, and his love of the ocean is evident throughout his fantastic cuisine.
The story of Roellinger alone is surely the essence of Brittany: a refined but charming life that is dedicated to the sea in every respect.
We recommend either going straight from the dining room to your bedroom at Chateau Richeux, or staying at the unique Castelbrac, a hotel perched on the edge of a cliff.
The world is your oyster, as they say… all it takes is the courage to say yes.

How time flies, friends…

Instagram has just reminded me that this legendary trip was 5 years ago today, and I just had to share it with you…
What started out as a post-Bat mitzvah family cruise ended up being a colossal event for 30 "highmaintenance" people 😲!
An incredible personalised cruise from Paris to Normandy, customized with a spectacular picnic at the Palais Moghol hidden in the Château du Champ-de-Bataille park (which is never open to the public) thank you …
Not to mention chartering helicopters to the D-Day memorials and beaches, exquisite private dinners, an exhibition at Château Gaillard… we really did do it all!
I will always be grateful for the events hero everyday support ( he saw that I was suffering a little 😅).
We pulled it off and learnt a lot during this trip. With big celebrations come high levels of expectation, flexibility and 24/7 service ( last minutes change or transfers back to Paris) – we at E&P know the importance of combining these things, running the show smoothly, and creating unforgettable experiences.
Thanks to Instagram, incredible memories like these stay alive and remind us, and you, that anything is possible. You just have to dream…
Thank you

“No one was more quintessentially Parisian than Yves” – Madison Cox
Housed at the Fondation Pierre Bergé-Yves Saint Laurent, the hôtel particulier in which the designer spent decades designing his haute couture collections, this museum pays tribute to one of the last true masters of French couture.
Yves Saint Laurent. His name and iconic designs are known everywhere. The Mondrian dress. The tuxedo. The safari jacket. He liberated women by radicalising the way they dressed, whilst never failing to be master of style and elegance.
Just as a god is worshipped, it is only right that Saint Laurent should have a museum devoted entirely to his life, work and legacy. Find yourself strangely moved as you discover his universe: the almost-untouched studio, the glorious exhibitions of his legendary creations, and the haute couture traditions that no longer exist in our modern world.
But let’s not stop here. A true exploration of the magic behind this man is only complete after a visit to the Musée YSL in Marrakech, which we believe is even more spectacular than its Parisian twin.

A France-Morocco trip on the footsteps of Yves is surely too tempting to resist…We are here to make it happened.

Available private guided visit before opening. You won't regret it.

Le Garde-Meuble de la Couronne - Hotel de la Marine - Place de le Concorde

A spectacular location. A monument steeped in history. In our opinion, the 2021 must-see for art enthusiasts everywhere.

Welcome to the Hotel de la Marine, the iconic twin building to the Crillon hotel undergoing a multi-million euro restoration( managed by the talented and famous interior designers Michel Charriere and Joseph Achkar ) as we speak, that will showcase the splendour of the 18th century French art de vivre.

Originally designed by the famous architect Ange Jacques Gabriel under Louis XV as a storage space for the King’s art and furniture, it has been occupied since the French Revolution by the Navy, hence the name ‘la Marine’.

This extraordinary building and its decorative art collections will be a reference for interior designers across the globe, with Jacques Gondouin first putting it on the map back in the day. The Al-Thani art collection speaks volumes itself, let alone Thierry de Ville d’Avray’s apartment, which is said to rival that of the King Louis XV at Versailles….

If losing yourself in the magnificence of this place isn’t enough, why not fully immerse yourself into the French art de vivre with a class on tableware or the art of entertaining, or even treat yourself to the delights of award-winning chef Jean-François Piège.

With secrets around every corner, we can’t wait to see this gem restored to its full beauty…

“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast” – the Queen, Alice in Wonderland (1985).
Think a Rubik’s cube made of perfect mini cakes is impossible? Think again. We promised to inspire you, so allow us to introduce Cedric Grolet, wizard of all things pastry.
His command of the patisserie at the Meurice hotel has put teatime there at the top of any culinary aficionado’s list when visiting Paris. However, it is his boutique patisserie around the corner that gained him Best Pastry Chef in the World 2018. Queues line the streets surrounding the Tuileries Gardens at the thought of a sumptuous Madeleine, or indeed a Royal Gala Apple…
Nothing is as it seems in the fantastical world of this undisputed king. His pastries can only be described as the rarest of jewels, in particular his signature ‘trompe l’oeil’ Sculpted Fruits collection, in which you will find flawless reproductions of lemons, apricots, hazelnuts… just break through the delicate chocolate casing to discover the pure delight inside.
We’ll leave you here now so that we can dream of glossy fruits for the foreseeable future…

The minute ultra fresh mirabelle plum tart is a true experience ❤🥰🤩

When patisserie meets Art.

Always a good reason to come to Paris
