Just as T&C were about to go outside for their first look, a rogue downpour started. I will never forget the look of panic on the bride’s face and I immediately blurted out “It’s not a washout!”

Mercifully the storm passed quickly. And thankfully the chairs were plexiglass. With a a few turns of the squeegee and the return of the sun, everything was back in order for a beautiful ceremony in the gardens of the !

It was a miracle that the floral installations by .vitchen were no worse for the wear - we loved the unique modern-yet-romantic vibe of the structures.

And thanks to the charm of and team, they were able to capture this fantastic shot from a kind hotel guest’s room.

A year ago - nearly to the day - we were heading to the seaside town of Cassis. As are most of the weddings we plan, K&P’s South of France wedding was a multi-day celebration. Day 1 started with a laid-back welcome luncheon, which was a great way to kick off the festivities and let guests have a relaxing pre-wedding evening.

Seeing the smiles in these photos is what our job is all about. How about a peek behind the scenes? M&D's springtime wedding took place at the beautiful Château du Grand Lucé. Plan A was for a ceremony in the gardens of the château, Plan B was to set up inside. The morning and afternoon forecast was everything but stable. We called on our amateur meteorologist skills, eyes glued to weather apps to see what was coming our way. Thankfully, the venue and vendors were fabulously accommodating and we decided as close to the ceremony as was logistically reasonable to set up outside. The ceremony took place in the gardens and just the last group photo was taken, the first raindrops started to fall. We had anticipated the cocktail hour inside and brought everyone into the château. It was still raining when it was time to move to dinner, but we had our trusty set of umbrellas on hand to get everyone to the ballroom. Smiles all around.

It has been 🔥hot🔥 in Paris but we're getting a bit of a reprieve today. Lovely summer weather usually continues well into September, which was very much the case for this "Endless Summer" party we planned last year at a private estate near Saint Tropez.
