This year the Cornwall Shop Small crew are going on a Christmas Market Tour - more festive dates, more seasonal joy and more shop small magic than ever before.

Thanks so much for loaning me the ever amazing shop small mascot Albie for this photo - as a super cute part of the shop small family he's the perfect mini to help share this BIG message...

I'm pretty sure I've banged on about it before but shopping small really does have supporting a better world at heart.

BACK... somehow I took a two week social posting break 🤪

It wasn't intentional but with lots going on in the big wide world and a fair bit going on in my little world I just didn't quite get there...

But now the shop small crew are BACK and with just two weeks until our next round of Markets I've got lots to shout about. They really are super special ones...

On Saturday the 31st of August we'll be returning to our great little city of Truro with our amazing friends as we host the BIG Truro Market alongside the awesome celebration of acceptance and coming together that is
I can't tell you how delighted I am that we're a part of this event, it's so important that we gather together as an inclusive and supportive community of humans ❤️

Then the following Saturday the 7th of September we're hosting our biggest BIG Newquay Market yet as we pop up across 3 locations across our glorious coastal town with the gorgeous folk alongside the Harbour Festival AND the Summer Finale.
It's going to be an epic day full of local ❤️ as we celebrate creativity, community and connection

Our Summer Festi tour is one of my absolute fav things in the Cornwall Shop Small calendar. Shop small magic in beautiful places against the backdrop of amazing tunes and awesome happenings. We kicked off the season at the wonderful Great Estate at the start of June, headed to the beautiful new festival that is Paradhis earlier this month and are heading back to the o so delightful Rock Oyster next weekend 💛💛💛

🎪 Then we're rounding off the tour returning to our fav end of season celebration from Fri 13 - Sun 15 September at Little Orchard taking place in the fields of Healey's Cyder Farm. Expect big live bands and the unexpected at this charming Cornish party brimming with local love 💕

What's inside..? 👉🏼✨

The Cornwall Shop Small crew are so excited to return to host Basar Bazaar at the voyage of discovery and musical mischief that's Rock Oyster! We had such a gorgeous few days last year and cannot wait to do it all again in just 2 weeks time...

Head to the Basar Bazaar marquee (at the top of the site overlooking the main arena) for a handpicked selection of the most wonderful local creators & curators of vintage & handmade fashion & accessories, contemporary art, craft & design, sustainable lifestyle & wellbeing inspiration, unique homewares & kitchenalia all alongside an in tent cake shop and stop 💛

Rock Oyster is hosted in the beautiful grounds of Dinham House on the banks of the Camel Estuary from Friday July 26th - Sunday July 28th (camping opens on the Thursday). It's a festival with a family friendly line-up of incredible music headlined by The Human League, Sugababes and Bombay Bicycle Club, mouth-watering food from Michelin-starred chefs, creative food experiences, an adventure and wellbeing programme and lots of family entertainment. Hellooooo local hero!

I realised it's been over a year since I did a hey ya and since then lots of you lovely folk have joined the shop small fun. There's now over well over 10k of you following along on socials which blows mind and fills my heart. Thank you so so much, your support means absolutely everything to me and the shop small crew 💛💛💛

Here's a few things you might (or might not 🤔) want to know about me...

✨ I'm Sarah, I'm 46 and I am the only member of the team at Cornwall Shop Small BUT I am so very lucky to collaborate and work with amazing people and can honestly say I feel more part of a team than ever before
✨ After a 10 year very part time journey with an awesome biz partner I took things on solo, went for it full time and launched Cornwall Shop Small at the start of last year
✨ I moved to Cornwall from London bit by bit (commuting to my desk in Soho) until I made it permanent in 2010
✨ I met my OH 23 years ago, we got married in secret and we have a little farm and summer campsite
✨ We turned up in Cornwall with a pair of scissors - we're what's known as Google farmers - the biggest highs and lows - lambing all nighters, pig AI and self poisonings
✨ We don't have kids. We wanted them and did the rounds but no luck. I'm ok about it. I have gorgeous animal children and like borrowing other people's minis
✨ I used to work on sponsorship and promos for big budget clients but my heart has always been with small businesses. Looking back I feel queasy about the marketing spends and like to imagine what all the amazing small biz peeps I work with could do with that kind of investment
✨ I have more plans for my little biz, I really hope you'll stick around to join me and the crew for the next adventures
✨ I could bang on, I've been known to, but I think I've covered off most of the FAQs I get asked 😊

I think that's pretty blimmin' wonderful 🙌🏼
