DANIEL ABRANDIS loves music

Started at the age around 11 and still going strong. The best of the best dance music through the years: Disco, Soul/Funk, House, Detroit Techno made him dj-ing around the world and back in Holland. Dance Valley, Beachbop, Coca Cola school Olympics, Clubland Open Air, Cherry Moon, Paradiso, Louwman Museum, Serious Request Radio, Woodstock69, Woonbeurs RAI, Gebrs de Nob

el, Panama, iT, Powerzone, Club Karement /Monaco, Hi Hotel /Nice, George 5@theBeach, Sissy boy, Steps, Fancy Farmers, Hotel d'Ville and so many more. It started al with "The Motown Parties" in Leiden, a sold out event, long before (HOUSE) parties made their entry. In infect, with the start of these HOUSE parties and with the regulations wich came with these events, The Motown Parties had to stop and also the founders Tjeerd and Bas had finished their studies. Daniel Abrandis immediately got residency at "Hotel d'Ville" Leiden, te first HOUSE club outside Amsterdam (even before Waakzaamheid) Many dj's at the beginning of their career joint the fun at de Ville. To name a few: Tiesto, Dimitri, Remy, Gizmo, Cellie, Isis, (and if i'm right, at the legendary Sunday Boring Sunday, once in a while a visit of Armin Van Buuren, who played at small club behind de Ville)

Chemistry. Indraaien voor Dimitri,

Indraaien is een kunst.
Binnen 'n timetable van 2 uur, de eerste gasten enthousiasmeren, nieuwsgierig maken, de energie die zij hebben meegenomen, laten behouden voor de hoofd DJ.

Aaien mag, kietelen mag, zelfs de deur 'n klein beetje open naar wat er nog meer mogelijk is, maar gelijk weer dicht. Ego opgeborgen.

Nog steeds draai ik met veel plezier. Vaak als hoofd DJ met de deur wagenwijd open.
