🎶 On Passion, Community, and the Duty to Create Beauty 🎶

Last night, I had the joy of hosting a piano recital with my extraordinarily talented friend, Francis PARAÏSO. Together, we brought live classical music to a small French village, an intimate evening that turned into something far greater than a concert.

What we created wasn’t just music.
It was a moment of deep presence.
A shared breath.
A connection with ourselves and with strangers.
An exploration of the forgotten works of 15 unknown French composers and, in a way, of our own capacity to feel and to be moved.

One thing became very clear:
Everyone loved it.
Everyone needed it.

A moment to pause.
To be.
To be lifted, inspired, and enlightened.
To stand in awe of the beauty that music and conversation can create.

It made me wonder…what if creating beauty, in whatever form it takes, is part of our duty as humans?

Our passions and side projects aren’t distractions from our “real” work.

They are the work of building communities, nurturing connection, and reminding each other what it means to be alive.

Is creating beauty through design, architecture, art, words, acts of kindness something we owe to the world? 🌟

Now, sunlight filters through double-volume windows, their traditional panes casting golden reflections across hand-painted walls that speak of centuries past.

Above, the ceiling rises in elegant volutes, a dance of curves and grace, crowned by a chandelier that commands the room with quiet brilliance. Its crystals catch the light, drawing the eye to the gilded panel above, where craftsmanship and history intertwine in perfect harmony.
