Thirteen years ago a small but perfectly formed Karaoquee was born under the Karaoaktree at the Secret Garden Party...
The Karaoquee launched at Secret Garden Party 2008 in a 20 foot circus tent .. Bigger and better at SGP 2009 for KARAOKE HELL :-)
Back again for SGP 2010...THE KARAOQUEE CAMP, this time set in a hot and smokin oriental dragon's lair, the shrill voice of Sci-Fi Samurai singers ri
nging out through the arena loosened by Sake Bombs and cocktails. The KARAOQUEE CYBERSPACE took off in 2011 returning to its origins from the final frontiers. In 2012 it was the 10th SGP and the Karaoquee's 5th Birthday party..we moved from the Karaoaktree to the North east arena, 'STANDING ON CEROMONY' between the Collisillium and Helter Skelter....and we celebrated in a 1500 Sq foot marquee with probably the best karaoquee party in the world ever :)
In 2013, we engaged your right brain and enchanted fellow gardeners in the black art of Karaoke! In 2014 we sang our hearts out along the ‘YELLOW BRICK ROAD’…
In 2015 we were back again for Childish antics with gardeners singing the songs that they spent their pocket money on! In 2016 the Karaoquee at ‘THE END OF THE UNIVERSE’ was the answer to life, universe and everything Karaoke related. As usual there were Sake Fruit Cocktails/Bombs inc pan-galactic gargle blasters to relax you as you performed or relaxed being 'entertained' by probably the best (and worst!) karaoke performers ever. In 2017 we presented ‘THE KARAOQUEE FACTOR’ for our 10th Birthday. You entered our Red Carpet world ...You were Celebrities and you got yourselves in here, the Karaoquee Got Talent.... Sweet Dreams were made of this :) .. and that was the end … or was it ?????!!!!!
