Just a heads up for anyone travelling in from the Westhill/AWPR direction. There are roadworks at Dobbies with a long delay at temporary lights. Leave plenty time to get here before your games. Apparently there are roadworks here until April 🙈

🥌🏆 Aberdeen Ladies Centre are pleased to announce that following local playdowns of three teams at Curl Aberdeen the team representing Aberdeen in the Henderson Bishop Trophy, to be held at Dumfries Ice Bowl on 24-27 February 2025, will be Team McGregor: Lianne McGregor, Tamzin Smith, Rosie Jamieson, Karen Shaw & Tamara Thomson (not pictured). 🏆🥌

This is one you don’t want to miss….back for 2025 - the infamous Aberdeen City Open is being held on 31st Jan to 2nd Feb. Get those new and old teams together, gather your friends, join us for a weekend of some competitive yet friendly and social curling. All ages and abilities welcome. Games start on the Friday evening and you’re guaranteed four 6 end games. Optional dinner in the city centre on Saturday night for those who wish to keep the party going. Congratulations to Curl Aberdeen siblings Finlay and Evie McGregor who both celebrated successes in Forfar last weekend. Finlay, in Team C Whyte, the winners of the Low Road in the Scottish Curling Asham U17 Slam and Evie, as part of Team Dundee, winners of Forfar's U12 Festive Cup. 🏆

We also have Curl Aberdeen Juniors competing this coming Saturday here at Curl Aberdeen in the Scottish Curling Asham U14 Slam - come along to watch the next generation of champions in action. Good luck to Evie, Eilidh, Ellie, Amber & Charlotte who will be taking part. 🤞

Please note that due to the adverse weather conditions and snow forecast for the rest of today we have taken the decision to postpone ALL Super League matches due to be played tonight, Monday 6th January 2025.

Emails to skips and a newsletter to members have been sent out but please inform your team members too.

Games will be rescheduled in due course.
