Hi everyone

Got a call today asking if we were still doing Sunday dinners as her neighbour told her she had heard we weren't doing any more. Don't know where this has come from but had a few ask this lately . I could get all conspiracy theory but I won't. I try to post on a Sunday to let people know if we are running low on a particular meat but I just get so busy I sometimes don't get time.
Please pass on to whoever you know that won't see this. We are open every Sunday for Sunday dinner unless I post otherwise.

Hi everyone.

Hope you are all OK and enjoying your weekend.

I recently posted to let you know that we had been voted into the Northern echo's top 10 bakeries and to thank you all for getting me there. The northern echo then had voting slips in their paper for 10 days. The feedback from you all was amazing, I couldn't believe so many people were bringing in the voting slips or letting me know that they had posted their votes.

On Thursday I got a call from a lady at the Northern echo......

WE WON!!!!!

Shell’s Village Bakery has been voted by you, our lovely customers, number 1.

I honestly can't believe what you have all done for me, I am absolutely buzzing. I can't thank you all enough, it's genuinely overwhelming the feedback you have given.

I would like to thank my staff and all you wonderful customers from the bottom of my heart. You can't imagine what this means to me
