We continue to challenge ourselves, Emma competed in the British Florist Association Young Florist of the Year 2009 held at Tatton Park and achieved 5th place. Having won the Scottish heat in Glasgow Emma will be entering the RHS Young Florist of the Year Competition at Chelsea Flower Show in 2011. We are so very proud of Emma. She has been announced as one of the 100 Faces of Floristry 2024. The National Florist Day Council announced 20 names over the last 5 days and Emma’s name came was announced tonight. Well done Emma 😄

Wanted to share a few pics of Peony Roses with you. These are the same roses pictured from last Friday, Sunday and today. It’s amazing how something that is so tight when we get them in eventually open to full bloom. This variety even changes colour as it matures as you can see from todays photo 🌻😄

Amazed and honoured to see my name and our shop on the shortlist, fingers crossed I make the final 100 🤞🤞🤞

It's taken longer than planned simply because the list of nominees was longer than expected! But the Selection Panel have now announced the final nominees being considered for the first National Florist Day Faces of Floristry. There's over 200 on the list ... now they have to whittle it down further to reach the final 100 .. we don't envy them their job. Delighted when this Campanula arrived in the shop. It’s a new variety to us and when we bought it thought it was going to be shades of green. Amazed at the colour and we now have one with a pink tinge to the petals as well🌻😄

It feels like it’s becoming a habit but we are delighted to say we will be closed Saturday 23rd and Monday 25th September for the local holiday. Have a great long weekend if you’re lucky to be off work😄🌻 Ps the pic is a Glorisa plant which was in the shop last year took it home and it’s been outside all summer and is now producing 4 flower heads. It’s a native of the more tropical countries but this one is loving Scotland🌻😄
