FESTIVAL FUN IS FAST APPROACHING....

In just three days, Portsoy harbour will be filled with traditional boats from across the UK, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the ACE Winches Scottish Traditional Boat Festival.

We can’t wait to welcome you all back for a weekend of live music and dance, delicious Scottish food and drink, age-old crafts and unique, handmade items and gifts.

To help you get ready, here’s some useful information to help you plan your trip:

🚗 PARKING is located on the West side of Portsoy and is clearly signposted from both sides of the town. A shuttle bus is provided from the car park to the Harbour, alternatively it is a 10-15 minute walk. Disabled parking is also located here with an accessible shuttle service. There is also a bus service to Portsoy, from Aberdeen and Elgin, this is provided by Stagecoach, visit their website for the latest times www.stagecoachbus.com

🎟️ TICKETS can be purchased or redeemed from the festival ticket office located at the Co-op car park on Seafield Street, or at the pay booths/ticket gates. We would recommend redeeming tickets at the ticket office, where they will issue you with a wristband for entry. Please have your email confirmation ready either on your phone or as a printout. Tickets can also be purchased on the day.

💧 Stay HYDRATED, ensure you bring a bottle or water with you or you can purchase refreshments from the various catering vendors located across the site.

☀️ SUN PROTECTION We are hoping for a warm and sunny weekend, so ensure that you apply sun cream and top up regularly during your visit. Just incase, as we know how unpredictable Scottish weather can be, pack a waterproof or an umbrella ☂️.

🍕🍤🍦FOOD we have a range of catering options at this year’s festival including Haydn's Woodfired Pizza, Paella Escocia, Louise's Farm Kitchen, Portsoy Ice Cream and THISTLE CATERING SERVICES. Aspire Restaurant will also be firing up the barbecue and smoking kippers all weekend, delicious!

👟 Stay COMFORTABLE and wear sensible shoes for walking around the festival site.

🐶DOGS are welcome at the festival, it can be crowded so please keep dogs on a lead at all times. They are permitted in all marquees and water points will be available throughout.

⏰OPENING TIMES The festival is open 9am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-6pm on Saturday

🛶Get ready for the RAFT RACE at 12.30pm on Saturday 1 July 2023 in the Old Harbour

Our stewards and security team are there to help keep you safe 🥰 and ensure your festival experience is as enjoyable as possible, please BE KIND to them.

💰 CARD payment is accepted across the festival, however it is also worth taking cash as a backup, the nearest cash point is at the Co-op on Seafield Street.

👧🧒 Our Wally Green Kids' Zone is open all weekend with great activities and entertainment. Don't miss Artie's Singing Kettle, Dean the Magician and the Balloon Mannies, performing all weekend.

🏴‍☠️The fun doesn't end there, we've got the Love Rara Pirate Party on Friday night 6pm-8pm and DISCO time on Saturday night from 6pm-9pm.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Get your dancing shoes for our Ceilidh in the Portsoy Town Hall from 6.30pm-Midnight., BYOB, tickets £10 and available from the ticket office.
