I somehow managed to shoot a wedding on the ONLY afternoon this YEAR with a spot of sunshine. It really wouldn’t have mattered though with these two; they are so much fun and up for anything. I wish I could have recorded Natalie organizing family for the groups as well…absolute clinic. If I had not been taking photos, I would have been taking notes!”

It’s been a while since I’ve been on the ‘gram’—a much-needed break from social media! Anyway, we’re absolutely stoked for this next year and all the amazing couples who’ve asked us to capture their weddings.

Thanks for these cracking photos. I’m not sure you did me any favors with the second picture, but I give my all on a wedding day, even a veil toss! As for the first image, just blending in ;).

One last thing (I’ve broken some rule about how long the text should be) seems some of our responses are hitting junk mail! Please do check your junk mail if you’ve not heard back from us!

As a creative, I’m always wanting to put the best out there. The “best” might mean the best light, colours, or composition. But the “best” to a couple is so much more, the tears of joy, the laugh, the cheeky child, a father's smile, a brother's embrace. Weddings are not creative shoots they are beautiful life events, hopefully, surrounded by your favourite people in the world!

This isn’t a slam, dis, or me calling out other photographers it’s just me being sentimental, and a reminder of what the job truly is. To capture all beauty that a wedding is, to the best of our ability!
