The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Aberdeen celebrated its 50th year in the North Sea and dinner at the music hall in Aberdeen on 12 September 2024.

The Perfection Catering Team were privileged to have had the opportunity to be part of an amazing night catering for 214 guests at the SPE International dinner and being involved in the Aberdeen chapter's 50th anniversary celebrations.

The Aberdeen section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) celebrated its half-centenary with a knees up in the Granite City’s Music Hall with an evening of food, music and drink with an address to the audience with 214 guests from across the energy sector who were in attendance at the city centre celebration.

We would like to thank the Music Hall Team who helped us during the event and Harthill Hospitality LLP who delivered the crockery and cutlery for the Perfection Catering Team to help set up the day before the event.

It was a fantastic night in a beautiful venue set up on the day to link in with the ambience and music.

Absolutely delighted to have worked with The Music Hall and Aberdeen Performing Arts Team. What an impressive event to have been a part of! Thank you for choosing Perfection Catering.

The event was held for 160 guests, and it was the 10th International Symposium on Environmental Hydraulics 2024.

The Music Hall is the perfect venue for a range of events and the Perfection Team would like to thank all the staff from The Music Hall for their help and guidance in making the night so spectacular for the international guests.

It was pleasure to cater for the Aberdeen Universities Officers Training Corp Non Confundar Dinner held at the Aberdeen Barracks in the Bridge of Don with 73 regular officers and UOTC cadets in attendance.

When the cadets go on adventure training and sports participating in team-building exercises there are also occasional dinners set. The dinner is an occasion for the officers, warrant officers, and senior non-commissioned members to show their appreciation to their officer cadets for their hard work in the past year and to bond as team. Dining is a formal military ceremony for members of the AUOTC, which includes a dinner, drinking, and other events such as playing the pipes to foster camaraderie and esprit de corps.

The Aberdeen University Officer Training Corps provides the formal dinners throughout the year, and it was a unique opportunity whilst at university to enjoying one of their formal dinners and it was great for the cadets to chat with and heard stories from the more senior member of staff and from other cadets.

The cadets enjoyed the evening out in Aberdeen Barracks, many of whom have recently joined the AUOTC, so was a chance to see and experience something different and to hear stories and speeches, a very enjoyable and insightful night for all.

Over 10,000 visitors.

Perfection Catering were privileged to be part of the Port of Aberdeen South Harbour open day for members of the public to see one of Aberdeen’s biggest maritime projects with over 10,000 visitors.

It was very busy day for the Perfection Catering Team and an amazing day, and we would like to thank the management team at Aberdeen Port for allowing us the opportunity to have our stall on site and having fantastic experience being part of such historic day for Aberdeen.

Great picture with gorgeous staff getting into the spirit of the event and dressed up to the specific theme on the open day and this increased the Perfection Catering Team to enjoy the day more and to have fun.

Great to meet up and they provided 2 Cullen skink soups which we had when we got home for tea, after hard day’s work and they were delicious.

The company is owned and run by Mrs Diane Burnett who had B&B for 9 years and sold it to start up Perfection Catering. With over 30 years catering experience and winner of the Food Awards in Glasgow in August 2015.
