Congratulations to Llanover Social Club who won last night's Rusty Nail Competition and are taking home the coveted Rusty Nail Trophy!

Team Goose & Cuckoo Inn fought valiantly with only 1 point difference going into the final quick quiz round!

We so enjoyed helping to organise and facilitate this year's competition at the G&C. Lots of laughs, smiles and friendly competition! Looking forward to the next one in September, held at the Llanover Social Club!

We're thrilled to be supporting the Goose & Cuckoo Inn with the running of this year's 1st Rusty Nail Competition, 21st Feb at the Goose & Cuckoo.

This is the long held friendly contest between the G&C and llanover social club!

We're planning plenty of fun pub games including Darts, Skittles, Quoits, Shove ha'penny, Jenga, connect4, (New) frog in a clog, (New) the 'rusty' squat and quick fire quiz!

If you'd like to play you can sign-up for either team G&C or Llanover Social Club. Or simply come and spectate, show your support and meet locals!

Wow! Our Biggest Llanover Big Village Breakfast Yet! 45 cooked breakfasts and satisfied customers served! It was wonderful to see so many new, and familiar faces connecting with friends and neighbours! A huge thanks to everyone who showed up and lent us a hand when needed.

A reminder that Llanover Events is a local and completely voluntary community group. All money raised at our events go straight back into helping us put on other community events throughout the year! The next big breakfast will be Sept 2025! We're looking forward to it already!

Stephen Price Llanover, a quaint village on the approach to Abergavenny, is synonymous with Welsh history thanks to the passions of Lady Llanover – a patron of Welsh arts, language, custom and costume. Passers-by would be forgiven for overlooking a small detail on the village’s old post office ....

Why not celebrate the true meaning of Christmas with Six Lessons and Carols at St Bartholomew's Church tonight (6pm). Would be wonderful to pack the pews with all you lovely locals and share in this traditional carol service. Merry Christmas Everyone.

Midnight mass is being held at Goytre Church tonight.
