🔥 From music lovers to BBQ enthusiasts! 🎶
In the '90s, studying in the U.S. led to lifelong friendships and a shared love for music, fun, and food. Our annual meetup at the Jazz Fest in New Orleans was a must!
There, I discovered the amazing Cochon de lait Po-Boy (pulled pork slider) – a taste I couldn't forget. Back in the UK, I began my BBQ journey, inspired by visits to Pittcue's Soho restaurant.
After leaving the police, raising three kids, and surviving lockdowns, BBQ became my new passion project.
Last summer, I fired up the wood smoker, made pulled pork sliders for neighbours and they loved it! This led to catering at the British Mountain Bike Championship.
From mountain bike events to weddings and more, we've met amazing people and made lots of friends along the way.
Now, we're turning the Community Hall into our BBQ haven. Join us for takeaways or eat-in – we've got tables, a Southern Blues soundtrack, and if you fancy a tipple you can bring your own booze! 🎶🍻
Family comes first, so we BBQ 2-3 times a month, but the joy of sharing our food keeps us motivated and having a blast. 🌊🤗
