Our U16’s season has come to an end today with a 3rd place finish in the league. A very good season by the girls with 2 cup finals to go with the league performance👏

Well done to all the players on a really good season 👏⚽️

Here, along with the final league table, are a few pics of our last match. For the record, we were attacking to the VERY last minute of the season.

With the U16 Pennies in the South Wales Women's & Girls League League Cup Final next Sunday, we thought you might like to see some goals from an earlier round.
It was a windy day in January when we hosted Sully Sports Pinks.
3 goals eluded the camera, but most didn't.

Apologies to Leah, Kaci-Leigh and Paige for the goals that go unseen, but these three are in the heat of the action in these sequences, and Kaci-Leigh's second goal is here.
It was an excellent team performance that put us through to the quarter final.

Our U16s' route to the South Wales Women's & Girls League Cup final, as set out in promo posters (inc two that had to be rescheduled).
There is an impressive +29 goal difference across these four matches for our team. We meet Cardiff City on Sunday, 14 May in the FINAL. 💙

Reaching the FA Wales Girls' Cup Final is a great achievement, but beating Barry Town Utd Women FC U16s was always likely to be tough, and so it proved today; congratulations to BTU on the win.

There was no shortage of spirit in the Pennies side but it was not our day today.

At today's match with Barry Town Utd Women FC there was a one minute silence for Alex Vaisey and our players wore black arm bands.
We were all deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Alex last night. He was a huge part of the success of the club from the initial days in PILCS through to AWFC times.
Alex was a great coach and friend of the club and will be truly missed 💙

Our U16s took on Cardiff Crusaders JFC U16 Girls today in the South Wales Women's & Girls League Cup Semi-Final at Brynmawr and were on fine form.
It was a complete team performance for the Pennies and so these pictures have been selected to include all of the players - all pics by Andrew Kennedy.

Congratuations to the squad on booking their place in the final.
