I’ve been so busy recently so it was quite quiet here. I was celebrating my 40th birthday … and what a great time I had!

Just before the celebrations started I made a cake for my friend’s daughter who was born on the same day as me ;)

Not sure if you know, but you can also order catering from me ;)

I offer canapes / bite size food / salads and much more … and when I do it, I make everything from scratch such as this beautiful burger brioches ;)

I made 2 brioche loafs for myself because why not - and they tasted so good with butter and honey /jam ;)

What a great idea to celebrate 50th birthday without having 50 on the cake ;)

Does it make you anxious when you turn 40 / 50 /60 or more? Do you stress out and don’t want to celebrate?

I always say one should celebrate each birthday - as it means you’re still alive and you should be grateful for that ;)
And if you are still alive you can change something for better / become better version of yourself/ do something good … there are so many ways to make use of our unique life…

I like cakes where there are layers of different flavours and textures.

A cake needs a bit of crunch and something that balances out the sweetness of the filling.

This was custom flavour I invented for a recent 1st birthday party ;)
