Greetings ladies and gentlemen, after our successful launch event last night, we have sought to take it upon ourselves to give back to the very same community that has supported us throughout our lives from childhood till to the present day.
As we all know times are difficult with the living crisis at full effect. We are hoping to make a difference even it means providing one meal to someone who is struggling in the community.
Everyone has their own difficulties, ourselves included. No ones better than the other, so please do not feel embarrassed by using our service and collecting a food parcel because remember, in these hard times we are all in this together as one close knit community regardless of age, gender, faith or background etc.
The food parcels ( microwaveable ) will consist of:
- Lamb Pilau rice.
- Chicken curry
- Lamb curry
- Naan bread
- Mint chutney ( yoghurt. )
The food parcels can be collected from Saint Mary’s Church in Accrington town centre, directly across the library at 6:30pm.
We are hopping to make this a regular service, so please keep your eye on our posts and feel free to inbox us regarding any queries.
We do realise, that this is indeed short notice, but hopefully by sharing this post and just simply telling a friend to tell a friend will do the trick!
