Where to begin... the post-show blues are setting in, but what an absolutely incredible week we have all had.
Thank you to everyone who came along to watch FRANKENSTEIN. We had four fantastic audiences which made all our efforts, and all the hard work of the past four months so worthwhile.
Thank you to our brilliant team; Alan on tech, Edie on backstage management, and Mark running our bar. You have been our backbone this week, and we couldn't have done this without you.
Our cast...
Caelan Reeves - your first ever 'big show' and you were phenomenal. Not just because you remembered all your lines faultlessly (a big undertaking for anyone, but so impressive for someone of such a young age). You have a natural professional attitude to your work, taking on the challenges of the role with such ease and without any fuss or worry. Bravo!
Libbi Whittaker - you bring joy to all our rehearsals, your personality is addictive and you are always 100% committed to everything you do.
You brought a brilliant energy into our opening Ingolstadt scene with your firey portrayal of Gretal, and your later scenes as the household staff in Geneva contrasted fantastically.
We loved all of your performances in this play, (especially the sails โต๏ธ).
Erin Mellish - you have been a delight to welcome to our company. You took on three very different roles and made each of them unique. Klaus was a loveable rogue, your servant was beautifully delivered, but nothing could compare to your Female Creatures dance which was especially exquisite.
Ant Doyle - thank you for being so thoroughly committed to your two roles, and spending such a lot of time developing them. You brought grit to the role of Gustav, and some wonderful dark humour to Ewan. They were both a real pleasure to watch.
Jonathan Burridge - your portrayal of Monsieur Frankenstein was simply wonderful. He had fantastic grace and we truly felt for him when he was grieving William and Elizabeth. His desperate need to save Vict
