Only joking. But seriously, everything is effectively run by me and supported by my wonderful family, friends and clients!
A typical day for me looks like
Waking up at 4:30am, heading to the flower market, drooling over the flowers, picking up my order, coming back, stomping through my messy studio that I didn’t tidy up the night before, processing stems, propping up my camera, editing videos, taking shots of beaut flowers in the sunshine, social media work, arranging, consultations for weddings, drawing up estimates and quotations, mood boarding…. And planning ahead.
And that’s just this business! I also work a 9-5 (well actually 6-3) and I’m a mum and girlfriend. I also have friends and family to fit in there too!
It takes a lot of effort and time but this past month has been so busy with flowers and I LOVE it and wouldn’t change it for anything!!!
My clients are GORGEOUS my clients are BEAUTIFUL, my clients are SMART, my clients are KIND.
My manifesting really came through with the sweetness and kindness of my clients. They really mean the world to me and I hope that with every bouquet delivered or collected, I leave an impression. 😊🥰

Read below! ⬇️ Gigha’s Flowers is almost 6 months old, but was 4 years in the making! For 4 years i was constantly putting obstacles in my own way like, “i need to learn to drive first”, “i need to buy my own house first”… etc. the list was long. If you know me, im TYPE B. I am great at coming up with ideas but terrible with execution. But with my allowable weaknesses comes my great strengths and i have learned SO much along the way. 1- you have to put a face to a name. I understand that there is a movement of faceless business owners that are killing it! I just find that with hard products, you need to show your face a lil bit to get some friends/customers 2- you have to do the legwork in the infant stages of business! I know this, you know this, our dogs know this. But i have found myself doing bare minimum and getting bare minimum back. Leaflets, boosting, interacting… The dreaded IN PERSON and COLD CALLING 🥲 I have made it my mission this month to get started in this 3- people love details. They love it when you make things extra special for them! For example, my bridal delivery boxes that can then be used for keepsakes! 4- day light! Thankfully in the summer, we have way more hours of daylight to work with. I work with flowers alongside my day job and i am a mum. I really get to arrange and design flowers for clients in the evenings once she is in bed and the lighting sucks in the colder months. Getting the right equipment in for lighting is the best idea for winter and autumn to make content POP! 5- wholesale can be confusing. I will admit, my first trip to the wholesalers for my flowers, I was shocked at the prices! Was it really £1.40 for 20 roses?! What a bargain!! NOPE £1.40 per STEM and you must buy a minimum of 20 stems… plus VAT. That adds up. Supermarket prices are impossible to compete with but lets be honest, florist flowers are designed with much more love and premium blooms! ☺️🥹 Follow for more as i will be sta
