A bittersweet birthday this year.

Yesterday was the last day I could officially call 2 Glenview Place my own.

The keys were handed back to my fabulous landlord and it’s time to move on to something new.

Thank you all again for your support and for all your kind words & gifts over the past few weeks - it really means a lot. ❤️

We will be available at the shop this week if you would like to come in to purchase something. Please be advised that we are now only accepting cash as our card terminal has been cancelled.

As you will all know by now, the shop is closing. I would like to put together a little book of memories and would really appreciate some images from clients.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of Lily’s Florist.

The financial strain over the last few years - Covid, the cost-of-living crisis and a significant increase in card fees has become too much of a burden for my small business to carry.

Thank you to all my clients for your continued support, I wouldn’t have come this far without you.

I am sad to leave such a welcoming community and clients I now think of as friends.

I am extremely proud of all of my accomplishments over the past 9 years and will cherish all the memories I’ve made.

My health & well being along with the happiness of my family are my top priory.

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to keep supporting you local, small businesses though these difficult times.

Please keep your eyes peeled for some fantastic goodies that I’ll be selling off over the next week - suitable for events, florists or general bargain hunters.

The couple had travelled all the way from Australia to be married at the gorgeous Luss Parish Church and then received family and friends at Duckbay Marina on the banks of the Loch. I'm sure the party went on until the wee hours with people from Ireland, Scotland, England and Oz! Gemma chose a peach, pale pink and ivory palette to include peonies and garden roses with eucalyptus varieties. If only there were a scratch and sniff option.
