Every season on the estate is captivating and wondrous. Summertime is where we see a succession of change from wisteria and lilac to hydrangeas, cosmos, roses and lavender as the estate blooms continuously through the season.

Hosting a walled garden drinks and canapé reception after marrying in the ballroom or under the backdrop of our beautiful hall gives your guests the opportunity to enjoy much of what the estate has to offer.

Each month there is a new delight to behold, this ensures that no matter the time of year you marry you will be surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of nature.

A ballroom ceremony with our floor to ceiling windows adorned with beautiful florals was in order for Olivia and Alex’s weekend wedding with us.

Indoor our outdoor, exchanging your vows at Wootton Hall is a breathtaking experience. Resplendent in natural light with views over the grounds, our ballroom is a joyful room, a triumph of elegant opulence and grandeur whilst also maintaining intimacy and a wonderful sense of tranquility.

Abundance and joy are two of many words which spring to mind when we think about this special, hidden retreat that is the Wootton Hall Estate.

Defined by exclusivity, we quietly boast twenty seven acres of land which are at your disposal on your wedding weekend for your guests to enjoy.

In summertime Hydrangeas flank the Italian gardens and English walled garden, they smother the rear of the hall and sweetly scented roses clamber the walls and gateways. A heady scent of blossom and lilac welcomes you in Spring and in Autumn the estate catches fire with deep gold and red as the ivy enveloping the hall and portico turns the deepest crimson.

From the front of the impressive Georgian hall overlooking our private nine hole golf course, the expansive tennis lawn by our hidden outdoor dining terrace, the courtyard and romantic walled garden, outside bar and lounge and indoor bar, your guests have space and privacy to relax and explore in total privacy.

November is the time of year that we take a moment to pause and revel in the memories of the year thus far. It has been a tremendously busy season for us, full of wondrous celebration, elation, exquisite beauty and splendour.

Perhaps the most splendorous of all is the dramatic transformation of the estate from season to season. A graceful symphony of emergence and retreat as the estate flourishes throughout the year.

Throwing open the shutters in the morning as the first light of day bursts into to hall we are eternally exhilarated by the view that await us. Witnessing such incredible change in nature is truly intoxicating and we count ourselves fortunate every day, not only that we have the pleasure of experiencing this but that we have the privilege of sharing this with our guests.

Watching the joy unfurl for our couples as the excitement grows whilst they take in the estate for the first time is one of our favourite moments. Everyone who arrives on the estate falls in love with it, just as we did when we first stumbled across this slice of secluded tranquility.

The magical warmth of Autumn textures.

For us, Autumn’s lease hath all too short a date. But for a very short moment of the year at the Hall we are treated to creamy golds and burnt fiery siennas, muted evergreens and the polarising ethereal glow of the low and ever so slightly softer sun.

A rather delightful capture of the heart of the estate, in which our magnificent Georgian Hall proudly stands.

In the morning the sun rises over the kitchen gardens, making its way around the estate- first drenching the walled garden in sunlight, releasing the delicious sweet scent of our climbing roses. In the afternoon the hall turns its face to the sun and glows for the remainder of the day, in anticipation of a spectacular golden hour display for your portraitures.

The Georgian hall is impressive from all standpoints and the front of the hall is a beauty to behold, particularly as its elegant stone portico is illuminated by the late evening sun, creating picture perfect photo opportunities to capture your portraits.

Harry and Annie stole a moment to themselves, in the shade of the willow tree- a blissful chance to enjoy the hic et nunc amongst the excitement of their day.

Marrying with the house as your backdrop and then moving to the walled garden and wedding barn means that this breathtaking part of the grounds is calm and quiet for an intimate stroll to pause and take everything in.

Cocktail and Champagne receptions in our English walled garden are a wonderful way to enjoy socialising with your guests before dinner. This breathtaking space continues to impress your guests as you welcome them through the arched entrance in the wall, in between sweetly scented climbing roses. A joyful floral display was created by to look as though it was spilling out of the window and over the portico, under which Harry and Annie married in searing September heat with beautiful white parasols to keep their guests cool and comfortable. Their ceremony was followed by refreshing, ice cold cocktails in the walled garden before dinner in our estate larch wedding barn.

A botanical dining dream created for Harry & Annie as their rehearsal dinner setting on the Friday night of their wedding weekend.

When we worked with to design this room we could only dream of the wonder that could be enjoyed within these four walls. Carefully chosen created a backdrop of exquisite stature of its own accord but when dressed with living floral art installations guests were transported to a daydream beyond their wildest imaginations.

has perfectly captured this space and the feeling it evoked, along with Harry and Annie’s reactions to seeing the space for the very first time.

Opulence and elegance at every turn across all settings on the estate, each as magnificent as the next. Nina and Ben made the most of many such spaces for their three day weekend wedding celebrations with us. For their wedding day on the Saturday we hosted their nuptials in the grand ballroom, our team prepared a show stopping drinks reception in the English walled garden, followed by dining and dancing in our larch wedding barn.

The estate boasts 27 acres of private parkland, extensive gardens and lawns, winding driveway and private golf course which offer picturesque locations to capture memories for a lifetime.

The English walled garden provides a breathtaking backdrop for your drinks reception. As you enter the walled garden you emerge through a rose scented archway into a serene and relaxing setting to enjoy our bespoke cocktails amongst the cosmos and hydrangeas.

As you greet your guests after your ceremony our team are on hand to serve a wonderful selection of canapés, created by our talented team of chefs to perfectly compliment our cocktails and champagne.

The walled garden, amongst extensive grounds, provides endless photo opportunities to be enjoyed, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
