For us, Autumn’s lease hath all too short a date. But for a very short moment of the year at the Hall we are treated to creamy golds and burnt fiery siennas, muted evergreens and the polarising ethereal glow of the low and ever so slightly softer sun.

Cocktail parties as part of your wedding celebration on the estate can take many forms, all exquisite, all special but different. A rather delightful capture of the heart of the estate, in which our magnificent Georgian Hall proudly stands.

In the morning the sun rises over the kitchen gardens, making its way around the estate- first drenching the walled garden in sunlight, releasing the delicious sweet scent of our climbing roses. In the afternoon the hall turns its face to the sun and glows for the remainder of the day, in anticipation of a spectacular golden hour display for your portraitures.

The Georgian hall is impressive from all standpoints and the front of the hall is a beauty to behold, particularly as its elegant stone portico is illuminated by the late evening sun, creating picture perfect photo opportunities to capture your portraits.

Harry and Annie stole a moment to themselves, in the shade of the willow tree- a blissful chance to enjoy the hic et nunc amongst the excitement of their day.

Marrying with the house as your backdrop and then moving to the walled garden and wedding barn means that this breathtaking part of the grounds is calm and quiet for an intimate stroll to pause and take everything in.

Cocktail and Champagne receptions in our English walled garden are a wonderful way to enjoy socialising with your guests before dinner. This breathtaking space continues to impress your guests as you welcome them through the arched entrance in the wall, in between sweetly scented climbing roses. A joyful floral display was created by to look as though it was spilling out of the window and over the portico, under which Harry and Annie married in searing September heat with beautiful white parasols to keep their guests cool and comfortable. Their ceremony was followed by refreshing, ice cold cocktails in the walled garden before dinner in our estate larch wedding barn.

A botanical dining dream created for Harry & Annie as their rehearsal dinner setting on the Friday night of their wedding weekend.

When we worked with to design this room we could only dream of the wonder that could be enjoyed within these four walls. Carefully chosen created a backdrop of exquisite stature of its own accord but when dressed with living floral art installations guests were transported to a daydream beyond their wildest imaginations.

Opulence and elegance at every turn across all settings on the estate, each as magnificent as the next. Nina and Ben made the most of many such spaces for their three day weekend wedding celebrations with us. For their wedding day on the Saturday we hosted their nuptials in the grand ballroom, our team prepared a show stopping drinks reception in the English walled garden, followed by dining and dancing in our larch wedding barn.

The estate boasts 27 acres of private parkland, extensive gardens and lawns, winding driveway and private golf course which offer picturesque locations to capture memories for a lifetime.

The English walled garden provides a breathtaking backdrop for your drinks reception. As you enter the walled garden you emerge through a rose scented archway into a serene and relaxing setting to enjoy our bespoke cocktails amongst the cosmos and hydrangeas.

As you greet your guests after your ceremony our team are on hand to serve a wonderful selection of canapés, created by our talented team of chefs to perfectly compliment our cocktails and champagne.

Saturday weddings often begin in a wonderfully slow and relaxed manner with a round of golf for the groomsmen on our private nine hole golf course. Breakfast is delivered from the estate kitchen to our cosy golf cabin to be enjoyed before heading off for a game. The final hole is down this magnificent stretch of the course, directly in front of the imposing Georgian Hall where you will return to begin getting ready for your special day

Our bridal wing is a sumptuous and serene space for you to relax the morning of your wedding.
With the whole west wing of the hall to yourself you’ll be totally undisturbed. Our bridal wing has its own entrance hall and atrium, luxurious private bathroom with huge shower and bathtub for soaking in with views over the kitchen gardens, a large separate dressing room for hair and make up and a vast dual aspect bedroom with two sitting areas and views over the golf course one side and lawns the other.

When we designed this space we wanted to create a calm environment with everything you could need on the morning of your wedding. Our dressing room for hair and makeup keeps the clutter out of the way as you and your bridal party get ready and it means you get a beautiful clear and tidy room for photos and relaxing in.

Our large estate barn sits next to the walled garden and makes for a wonderful location to celebrate with incredible food. Your wedding guests dine on long tables, made from estate wood and can dance the night away, enjoying cocktails from the estate, made by our talented bar team at our indoor or outdoor bar
