Just add candles is based in Shirland, Derbyshire and was created by myself, Julie in 2014. I specialise in Celebration & Novelty Cakes, Cupcakes & Cupcake Bouquets. All of these are homemade (without the use of ready mix packets), using high quality ingredients & free range eggs from a local farm. I am Council registered with a 5* food hygiene rating, and I am also fully insured with a current H

This was so much fun to create for Dan's 30th Birthday celebration.
The cereal box was made with a vanilla sponge, raspberry jam & buttercream.
The cereal bowl and spoon were created from a chocolate sponge cake layered with chocolate buttercream, all are completely edible.

🚂 Steam Engine Cake 🚂 What a project !!!!! I was asked if i could make a cake for Midland Butterley Railway Station to help raise much needed funds as they were recently vandelised. So what else could i do, but created a Steam Engine 🚂 out of cake 🎂 What would make this even more of a show stopper? Yes, to puff smoke. 9 hours of work from start to finish and completely edible. Massive thankyou to Dawn Butler - Dinkydoodle for creating the stand kit for me which made the assembley of the cake much easier. #DawnButler #dinkydoodle #midlandbutterleyrailway
