Like a lot of independent businesses we have been struggling with rising costs but on top of this we have been recently been having our stock stolen, adding to more loss of income. As with other small traders in the town we are charged for the CCTV in the town centre but none of this covers our shops street. With these thefts increase of no show for personalised tributes, a common experience for shop owners in Alloa- We are struggling even more in these already difficult times. As with most independent businesses our work is a labour of love as we provide for our local communities and to be targeted like this is heart breaking for all of us shop owners and traders. Please think local and show support for you independent businesses.

A GROUP of Alloa business owners are campaigning for a change in the controversial Alloa First BID levy charge.

Unfortunately today we have been victim to shoplifters. A male and female came by the shop at around (13.42) and whilst the man made enquiries within the shop the woman has taken one of our wreaths. If you have any information on the couple or if you happen to find our wreath we would be grateful if, you can contact us. Not only have we lost money and the time we put into making up the wreath but this is also quite a traumatic experience for staff. Thanks, Baytree flowers
