If you have a child aged 4-11 who loves crafts and you're looking for an activity where you don't need to stay, this is for you!
In this two-hour session, your little crafter will have the opportunity to explore various craft materials and unleash their imagination.

The children at Busy Bees Nursery had a fun and creative time making their own unique coral reefs. They used two colors of foam clay, painted pasta shapes, and sea-life stickers to create this magical underwater world.

We spent a creative afternoon making Princess Cats. Each child chose their own colors for their canvas. Once ready, they used a squeegee to create stunning patterns with the paint. While the vibrant colors dried, the children assembled their Princess Cats.

Meet the Herd 🥰
We had a fun and magical morning celebrating Lily’s birthday by making guinea pig pillows. I love the challenge of taking on a new craft theme and enjoy seeing the end results even more.
For this craft, we used small irons to attach the patchwork to the pillow bodies, under guidance. The kids also demonstrated fantastic fine motor skills while stitching up the hole after filling the pillows.
Now to relax and enjoy the sunshine and plan for the half-term craft session ☀️

Today, we had the pleasure of crafting with a group of fun and creative children. The theme Amelia chose was mermaids. Using large clam shells and foam clay, they created an underwater scene. Next,they used pipe cleaners and other materials to craft mermaids 🧜♀️🪸

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has recently shared heartwarming reviews. It's not just the children who enjoy the sessions and parties, I do too. It's incredibly rewarding to hear a child express doubt, like saying they can't do something or don't enjoy painting because they're not very good, only to then see them step out of their comfort zone and beam with pride as they create something wonderful 💗🎨

Yesterday, two creative girls asked me if they could arrange a photo shoot for the Sock Teddies 🥰

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, and tested our extended sessions. The children today demonstrated patience, creativity, and resilience in their activities. The group listened carefully and followed instructions on creating sock teddies with minimal intervention from us. After completing their adorable teddies, they worked on 3D portraits of foxes or hares, and ended the session with colorful abstract fluid art 😊
We even had a visitor 😊🐈
I’d also like to say a massive thank you to my helpers, you’r all amazing! 💗

Yesterday, we were creating sock teddies for the birthday girl's party. The girls showed a lot of perseverance, and with some assistance from us and their mum, they finished their super cute teddies 😊🐨

Christmas Craft
What a wonderful way to start the week, Christmas craft Busy Bees Nursery Alton. The children decorated wooden baubles using shaving foam and paint which produced a marble effect. And of course there was glitter 😄. Thank you for having me 🎅🏻
And that’s a wrap! Thank you to all my Mini Crafters for supporting Dragonfly Craft Parties. Over the summer, I have enjoyed crafting with you and sharing ideas, you’re all amazing! Also a huge thank you to all my helpers who are superstars 🌟 I’m really proud of the children today showing resilience in a tricky activity. Threading is always a fine motor skill that tests your patients, even as an adult 😄 Carefully with some help at times they threaded the colourful thread through the shell, spacers and beads. On completion of the threading they attached the shells to the hoop to make their wind chimes. Then onto our very cute Sea Dragons using the fantastic air drying clay 🥰 Enjoy the rest of the summer break and I’ll see you in October 👻🎃 70 days and counting 👏🏻👏🏻
A morning of sea creatures 🥰🐳🐬🐠🐡🐙
What a busy, fun and creative morning. The children’s creativity and imagination took them to the beach today, we had golden sandy beaches, rock pools and shimmering blue oceans. They explored texture using Mod Rock strips, sand, shells, paint and glue to produce their amazing beach scenes 💞
This session at Chawton Village Hall is now sold out 👏🏻 Spaces still available for August 21st and 22nd at Chawton Village Hall. Each date has a different craft and the option for parents/careers to drop off or stay. Contact Michelle for a space 😊
